Series Notes: Lourdes is 3-2 all-time against Michigan-Dearborn dating back to the 2010 season. Last year the Gray Wolves posted a 3-2 victory in Dearborn, the second straight five-set victory that Lourdes had posted over Michigan-Dearborn. This will be just Michigan-Dearborn's second visit to Tam-o-Shanter, as Lourdes swept the Wolves back on Sept. 18, 2010. Bethel (Ind.) is 3-0 all-time against the Gray Wolves dating back to 2010. All three meetings between the two schools have resulted in 3-0 sweeps by the Pilots, and all three came during the Michigan-Dearborn Earlybird Challenge.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes opened the week with a 3-1 victory over Lawrence Tech at Tam-o-Shanter on Wednesday evening. The Gray Wolves hit .226 for the match, including a blistering .370 in set one without committing an error.

Morgan Fox is seventh in NAIA with 1,112 assists, while Aubrey Husak is 10th in the country with 387 kills. Mallory Gilkey has notched a team-leading 92 blocks.
Several Streaks Come to an End: Lourdes saw its string of nine straight five-set victories come to an end on Friday evening with the 3-2 loss at Siena Heights. The loss also marks the first time this season the Gray Wolves dropped a match after winning the opening set, as Lourdes entered the match 12-0 after winning the opener. The match also marked the first time all season that the Gray Wolves lost a contest when recording more digs than the opposition.
Looking for a Home Match: Lourdes is looking to secure a home match in the first round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament for the second straight year. The event, which begins on Nov. 13, has teams five through eight hosting nine through 12 in the opening round. The Gray Wolves enter the week in eighth place, two games ahead of both Concordia and Michigan-Dearborn for ninth, with just three league contests to play.
Jimenez Fifth in Single Season Digs: With seven matches remaining in the regular season,
Michi Jimenez has already moved into fifth place on Lourdes single season digs chart. The sophomore has 319 digs this season, 41 shy of fourth place and 44 behind third. Jimenez already holds the school's career dig record with 767 in less than two full seasons.

The current school mark for hitting percentage with a minimum 100 swings is .214 set by Brooke Hearn during the 2011 campaign.
Looking for a Winning Season: Lourdes is three wins shy of being assured a winning season for just the second time in program history. The Gray Wolves went 21-17 in 2010, the program's first season, but have not finished over .500 since. The next win will be the team's 14th this year, matching the 2012's victory total for second most all-time.
Captains Named: Allegra Recknagel and
Alyssa Pelish have been selected as team captains for the 2013 season. Recknagel will be a captain for the second straight year, making her just the second two-time captain in program history. Hannah Thompson was a team captain in both 2010 and 2011.
This and That: Allegra Recknagel had two double-doubles last week and now has a team-leading six this season ...
Keyonna Gregory was responsible for 24 points against Siena Heights, the most ever by one player in a match in program history.
