Lourdes hit .308 for the match offensively against the top team in the Crossroads League on the way to a 25-18, 25-16, 25-20 sweep of Bethel (Ind.) on the road Friday night in a non-conference match played at Goodman Gymnasium in Mishawaka, Ind.

"This was easily the best match we have played all season," head coach
Greg Reitz stated after the win. "It is probably one of the best matches we have played in program history. We played with high intensity the entire night against a quality opponent. Our bench was very enthusiastic throughout as we produced a total team effort tonight."

Stef Comte (Toledo, Ohio/Notre Dame H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with 12 kills, hitting .478 for the match, while
Angie Pagan-Perez (Toa Baja, P.R./Bayamon Military Academy) added 10 kills.Â
Allegra Recknagel (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion H.S.) handed out 31 assists while adding a match-high 10 digs to complete a double-double.

Sam Dibert (Hartland, Mich./Hartland H.S.) and
Keyonna Gregory (Holland, Ohio/Springfield H.S.) each registered seven kills as well for Lourdes while hitting over .350 each.

The Gray Wolves offense was clicking all night long as the team registered just six attack errors total through two sets, hitting .346 in the opener and .385 in set two. Defensively Lourdes held the Pilots to just .160 hitting for the night.

Aubrey Husak led Bethel (21-10) with 12 kills while hitting .500 for the night.

Lourdes (15-10) will remain on the road Wednesday night while returning to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play as the Gray Wolves travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to face nationally-ranked Davenport. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. at the DU Student Center.
