Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: After a 3-0 sweep of Marygrove in the opening round of the WHAC Tournament on Wednesday evening, Lourdes focuses its attention on the quarterfinals on Friday afternoon as the Gray Wolves face 20th-ranked Davenport on the campus of Madonna University in Livonia, Mich. Greg Reitz has a 66-67 (.496) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves. In his sixth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 85-101 (.457) career mark. He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Davenport holds a 6-0 all-time advantage against Lourdes after winning this season's earlier meeting 3-0 back on Oct. 30 in Grand Rapids, Mich. This will be the third neutral site meeting between the two schools and the second in the WHAC Tournament. Last year the Panthers downed Lourdes 3-0, also in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Last year the Gray Wolves posted a four-set victory at home over Concordia (Mich.) in the first round before falling in three sets to Davenport in the quarterfinals. In 2011, Lourdes lost both of its matches in pool play by 3-0 scores to Davenport and Northwestern Ohio.
Looking for Record Win Streak and Win #20: Lourdes has won four straight matches for just the third time in program history and with a win on Friday would match the school's longest winning streak at five, which was accomplished Oct. 10-27, 2012. The Gray Wolves also are one win shy of 20 for the season, and look to reach that mark for just the second time as well (21-17 in 2010).
Against Ranked Foes: Lourdes is still looking for that elusive first win against a ranked opponent, entering Friday's match 0-11 all-time against NAIA top-25 foes. The Gray Wolves are 0-3 this year, having dropped matches at Georgetown (Ky.), Madonna, and Davenport.
Climbing the Single Season Charts: As a team Lourdes has set a new school record with 172 blocks this year heading into the conference tournament. The Gray Wolves also rank second in hitting percentage at .141 (behind 2010, .165). Lourdes is 68 kills behind second place as a team but just four assists out of second and 37 behind the top spot in that same category.
Record-Setting Pace: Keyonna Gregory and
Stef Comte enter the WHAC quarterfinals atop the school's single season record for hitting percentage. Gregory enters the week hitting .277 on the year while Comte is connecting at a .248 clip.
