Box Score Lourdes lost the opening set and trailed in the second before rallying to defeat Lawrence Tech 15-25, 25-23, 25-8, 25-22 on Wednesday evening at Ridler Fieldhouse in Southfield, Mich.

th in the career of head coach
Greg Reitz, 80 of which have come on the Gray Wolf bench. Lourdes also improved to 10-0 all-time against the Blue Devils.

The Gray Wolves struggled early, committing 10 attack errors while registering just four kills in the opening set. Lourdes hit -.194 to open the match despite jumping out to a 4-0 lead. Lawrence Tech answered with a 10-1 run to take the lead of good, 10-5. The Gray Wolves cut their deficit to two, 11-9 before another 8-1 Blue Devil run put the set out of reach.

In the second set, Lawrence Tech built a 17-13 lead looking to go up 2-0 in the match. The Gray Wolves fought back, tying the set at 18 before finally taking the lead 20-19 on the first of two straight kills from
Stephanie Richards (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.). Lawrence Tech retied the set at 23 before a bad set and a
Sam Dibert (Hartland, Mich./Hartland H.S.) kill evened the match.

The third set was all Lourdes as the Gray Wolves raced out to an 11-2 lead behind the serve of Richards.Â
Michi Jimenez (Vega Baja, P.R./Juan Quirindongo Morell H.S.) also served during a 7-0 run as the Gray Wolves hit .400 in the stanza.Â

The Gray Wolves took the lead for good, 12-8, in the fourth with a 5-0 run behind two kills from
Angie Pagan-Perez (Toa Baja, P.R./Bayamon Military Academy) as well as three attack errors from Lawrence Tech. The Blue Devils closed to within two twice the rest of the way, the latest coming at 18-16 before Lourdes secured the match.

Richards led Lourdes with 12 kills while Pagan-Perez added 11 more.Â
Mallory Lenhart (Lambertville, Mich./Bedford H.S.) and
Lexie Curtis (Toledo, Ohio/Bedford H.S.) each handed out 19 assists while Jimenez led all players with 19 digs.

Kasey Clark led Lawrence Tech (10-15, 4-9 WHAC) with 19 kills while Kelsey Haener tallied a team-high 11 digs.

Lourdes (12-10, 8-5) will return to action on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves play a pair of conference matches. Lourdes will travel to Adrian, Mich. to face 16
th-ranked Madonna at noon and the host Saints of Siena Heights at 4:30 p.m. at the SHU Fieldhouse.
