Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: The 2014 regular season concludes this week for Lourdes with three Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matches that will have an impact on seeding for next weekend's tournament.  The Gray Wolves travel to Indiana Tech on Wednesday night before heading to Davenport on Saturday to battle both the Panthers and Aquinas.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his fifth season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 84-82 (.506) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his sixth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has an 104-117 (.471) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Indiana Tech is 5-1 all-time against Lourdes after posting a four set victory over the Gray Wolves on Oct. 1 at Tam-o-Shanter.  The Warriors are 3-0 against Lourdes in Fort Wayne.  Davenport is 7-1 all-time against Lourdes after a four-set win on Oct. 3 at Tam-o-Shanter.  The Golden Eagles are 2-0 against Lourdes in Grand Rapids, Mich. with the Gray Wolves lone win in the series coming Nov. 15, 2013 in five sets in the WHAC tournament.  Aquinas is 4-0 all-time against Lourdes, but are meeting at a neutral site for the first time.  The Saints won the first meeting this year at Tam-o-Shanter in four sets.

Earlier This Season: Lourdes suffered a 25-23, 19-25, 27-25, 27-25 loss to Indiana Tech on Oct. 1 at home in a closely contested contest.  Stephanie Richards led Lourdes with 18 kills and 16 digs while Shanice Richards tallied 19 kills and hit .516 for the Warriors.  On Oct. 3, the Gray Wolves fell 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 25-19 to then 25th-ranked Davenport.  Carolyn Manley paced Lourdes with 15 kills while Michi Jimenez added 23 digs.  Hannah Stone hit .500 with 17 kills for the Panthers.  Aquinas topped Lourdes 21-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-19 on Sept. 13 at Tam-o-Shanter.  Katie McKenty had 14 kills while Manley added 12 more for the Gray Wolves.  Brooke Wieland tallied 39 assists and 18 digs for the Saints.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes hit .318 led by Stephanie Richards 13 kills, and swept Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday 25-10, 25-8, 25-19.  Richards had 18 kills and hit .375 Saturday morning as the Gray Wolves posted a 28-26, 25-18, 25-13 win over Cornerstone.  Lourdes battled back from two sets down before suffering a 25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 20-25, 19-17 loss to Northwestern Ohio on Saturday afternoon despite 19 kills and 17 digs from Angie Pagan-Perez.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors have won six of their last eight matches following a 3-0 sweep of Siena Heights at home on Saturday afternoon.  Christine Foest leads Indiana Tech with 298 kills on the season while Karli Jones has handed out 777 assists.  Taylor Kelso has registered 515 digs while Shanice Richards has a team-leading 95 blocks.

Scouting Davenport: The Panthers have won four straight matches after sweeping both Marygrove and Lawrence Tech last Saturday.  Davenport hosts Madonna on Wednesday before battling Lourdes.  Hannah Stone has tallied 395 kills for Davenport while hitting .314.  She also has a team-leading 128 blocks.  Amber Getty has handed out 1,369 assists while Morgan Torres has registered 515 digs.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints enter the week having won six straight matches following a five-set win at Lawrence Tech and a four-set triumph over Marygrove on Saturday.  Aquinas faces Siena Heights and Michigan-Dearborn before battling Lourdes on Saturday.  MacKenzie Kolstad tops the Saints with 259 kills while Brooke Wieland has handed out 991 assists.  Rachel Sprenger has recorded 527 digs while Elle Sturgell has been involved in 110 blocks this season.

WHAC Tourney Bid Clinched, Seeding Up for Grabs: With three matches remaining in the regular season, Lourdes has assured itself a spot in the WHAC tournament next weekend.  The Gray Wolves can still finish as high anywhere from fourth place through eighth place in this year's league ledger.

Full of Aces: Lourdes served up 14 aces last Wednesday in the victory over Michigan-Dearborn, the team's second highest single match total in program history.  The Gray Wolves have now tallied 179 aces on the season, their third highest single season total in program history.

Outstanding Hitting: The Gray Wolves hit .318 for the match against Michigan-Dearborn last week, the third best hitting night in program history.  The Gray Wolves tallied 39 kills on just 88 swings, and committed just four total errors in the first two sets combined.

Set to Rewrite Own Record: Michi Jimenez enters the week with 513 digs on the season, the second highest single season total in school history.  The junior libero is just two digs shy of breaking her own school mark of 515 set last season.

Captains: Michi Jimenez, Mallory Lenhart, and Carolyn Manley have been named Gray Wolf tri-captains for this season.  Jimenez is a junior libero who is a two-time Honorable Mention All-WHAC pick. Lenhart and Manley are both in their first seasons at Lourdes, having transferred to the school in the offseason.

This and That: Lexie Curtis ranks 14th in NAIA averaging 0.55 aces per set and is 21st overall with 53 total aces ... Stephanie Richards ranks 39th nationally averaging 3.4 kills per set ... the Gray Wolves have zero seniors on their roster, as all 16 players are set to return next year ... Michi Jimenez leads the WHAC averaging 5.03 digs per set.
