Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: Having moved into a second place tie in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings, Lourdes University takes to the road for three matches this week.  The Gray Wolves will play nine of their next 11 contests, all league matches, away from Tam-o-Shanter, beginning with Wednesday's tilt at Michigan-Dearborn.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his fifth season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 76-75 (.503) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his sixth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has an 96-110 (.466) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes holds a 4-2 series advantage against Michigan-Dearborn and has won three straight matches against the Wolverines.  Last year the Gray Wolves were 3-0 victors at Tam-o-Shanter.  The series is even 2-2 in Dearborn, Mich.  Northwestern Ohio is 5-0 all-time against Lourdes following a 3-0 sweep of the Gray Wolves last year in Lima, Ohio.  The Racers are 2-0 against Lourdes in Lima.  Cornerstone holds a 3-1 series advantage but the two schools split last year's meetings.  The Golden Eagles won in four sets at Tam-o-Shanter during the regular season before Lourdes posted a five-set victory in the WHAC tournament.  Lourdes lost its only previous match in Grand Rapids, Mich. 3-1 in 2012.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes served its way past Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday evening with a 25-20, 25-21, 24-26, 25-16 victory to improve to 4-1 in WHAC play.  Stef Comte hit .450 with 11 kills while Angie Pagan-Perez tallied 11 kills and 11 digs in the victory.  Michi Jimenez had a team-high 23 digs while Carolyn Manley served up a school-record eight aces.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines are still looking for their first victory of the season after dropping a five-set decision to Rochester (Mich.) on Friday evening.  Megan Ynclan leads Michigan-Dearborn with 82 kills while Rebecca Carley has tallied 187 digs.

Scouting Northwestern Ohio: The Racers enter the week having won six straight matches following a five-set victory over #24 Davenport last Wednesday.  Chanel Cantere leads the way with 268 kills and a .243 hitting percentage while also tallying a team-high 211 digs.  Megan Fullenkamp has tallied 44 blocks while Hailey Rosinski has handed out 536 assists for Northwestern Ohio.

Scouting Cornerstone: The Golden Eagles had their three-match winning streak snapped on Saturday with a three-set loss to Trinity Christian.  Heather Green has led the offensive with 154 kills while hitting .236 and Hope Leppink has handed out 507 assists.  Amber Carmean has tallied 214 digs while Callie Schultz has been involved in a team-leading 42 blocks.

A Record-Setting Performance: Carolyn Manley served up a school record for the Gray Wolves in their four-set win over Concordia (Mich.) last Wednesday.  The sophomore registered eight aces in the contest, setting the school's single match record.  Manley, who entered the contest with just seven total aces on the year, had four in the opening set, then proceeded to add at least one in each of the next three sets.  She broke the previous record of six set by both Amanda Drew and Brooke Hearn during the 2011 season.

Nearing Best WHAC Mark: Lourdes enters this week with four Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victories already this year.  The Gray Wolves need just one more to match the most conference wins for the team in any season.  Lourdes went 5-6 in both 2012 and 2013, but have already won four of its first five league tilts this year.

Back-to-Back for Angie: Angie Pagan-Perez has tallied back-to-back double-doubles for the Gray Wolves.  After posting 10 kills and 14 digs against Aquinas on Sept. 13, the sophomore recorded 11 kills and 10 digs last Wednesday in the win over Concordia (Mich.).

A Telling Stat: Offense is important and Lourdes record reflects that.  The Gray Wolves are 8-0 this season when hitting a better percentage than their opponents, but are 0-4 on the year when posting worse numbers.

Two in the Top Four: Katie McKenty passed Brooke Hearn (2010-2011) earlier this season for second place all-time at Lourdes with 593 career kills.  She trails just Ali Mass (2010-2013) who holds the school mark with 710 career kills.  Stephanie Richards also ranks in the top four in kills with 417 in her brief career.

Nearing the Block Record: Stef Comte has already been involved in 31 blocks on the season, moving into second place all-time at Lourdes with 106 for her career.  She is just 32 rejections shy of the school mark of 138 set by Andrea Brown (2012-2013).

Captains Named: Michi Jimenez, Mallory Lenhart, and Carolyn Manley have been named Gray Wolf tri-captains for this season.  Jimenez is a junior libero who is a two-time Honorable Mention All-WHAC pick. Lenhart and Manley are both in their first seasons at Lourdes, having transferred to the school in the offseason.

This and That: Lexie Curtis ranks 23rd in NAIA averaging 0.59 aces per set ... Michi Jimenez has tallied 198 digs already this year and needs just 39 more for 1,200 in her career ... Lourdes has won eight of its last 10 matches overall ... only Stef Comte and Jimenez have played in every set this year.
