Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball:  The final homestand of the 2016 regular season takes place this week for Lourdes as the Gray Wolves play three matches in four days.  Lourdes will entertain Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday evening before hosting Michigan-Dearborn for Senior Night on Friday and Madonna on Saturday afternoon.

On the Air: Wednesday's match against Concordia (Mich.) will be broadcast live on BCSN on Buckeye Cablesystem.  The game will also re air on BCSN at 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday.  In addition, BCSN2 will show the match on Thursday at 1 a.m. and 2 p.m. as well as on Friday at 9:30 a.m.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his seventh season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 135-90 (.600) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his eighth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 154-125 (.552) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Lourdes holds a 10-1 all-time advantage over Concordia (Mich.) since Aug. 20, 2010 after sweeping the Cardinals in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Sept. 14.  The Gray Wolves posted a 5-0 record all-time against the Cardinals at Tam-o-Shanter.  Lourdes holds an 8-2 series edge against Michigan-Dearborn dating back to Aug. 28, 2010.  The Gray Wolves have won seven straight matches in the series, including five straight sweeps and was 4-0 against the Wolverines at Tam-o-Shanter.  Madonna holds a 6-4 series edge over the Gray Wolves dating back to Oct. 8, 2010, but Lourdes won all three contests last season, including the WHAC title match.  Lourdes went 2-1 against the Crusaders at Tam-o-Shanter.

Earlier This Season: Lourdes hit .385 as a team on Sept. 14 in Ann Arbor, Mich. on the way to a 25-17, 25-16, 25-18 victory over Concordia (Mich.).  Stef Comte hit .611 with 12 kills and Stephanie Ruffing added 10 kills while Molly Shonk had seven digs for the Gray Wolves.  Rebecca McDonald led the Cardinals with 10 kills and hit .643 in the loss.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Stef Comte hit .733 with 11 kills on 15 swings on Wednesday as Lourdes won its 12th consecutive match, defeating Siena Heights 25-21, 25-12, 25-22 on the road Wednesday night.  Stephanie Ruffing added nine kills and a match-high 15 digs.

Scouting Concordia (Mich.): The Cardinals had their two-match winning streak snapped last Wednesday, falling in five sets to Aquinas.  Erica den Boer leads Concordia with 292 kills and is hitting .270 while Claire Truskowski has handed out 607 assists.  Julia Szuba has recorded a team-high 457 digs while Rebecca McDonald has registered 80 blocks.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines snapped a seven-match losing skid last Wednesday with a home sweep of Marygrove.  Michigan-Dearborn travels to Indiana Tech on Wednesday before heading to Lourdes.  Colby DeMare leads the Wolverines with 151 kills while Danielle Barile has 576 assists.  Taylor Bejma has registered team bests with 218 digs and 27 service aces while Katherine Nealy has registered 50 blocks.

Scouting Madonna: The Crusaders have won six of their last seven matches after downing Grace and Saint Francis (Ill.) last Saturday.  Madonna hosts Lawrence Tech and travels to Siena Heights before battling Lourdes.  Madonna is led by Karlie Kelly, who has registered 358 kills and is hitting .274.  Lauren Korth has handed out 1,104 assists while Deanna Krumhelz has 480 digs and 30 aces.  Amanda Hawkins leads the Crusaders with 92 blocks.

Thanks Seniors: Lourdes will celebrate Senior Night on Friday evening.  Meghan Birr, Carolyn Manley, Lexie Curtis, Sam Dibert, Stef Comte, Molly Shonk, Stephanie Richards, Ave Stout, and Stephanie Ruffing will all be honored in a pre match ceremony.

WHAC Win Streak Continues: Lourdes has won 34 consecutive regular season conference matches, a streak that began Nov. 5, 2014 with a four-set triumph at Indiana Tech.  Beginning Sept. 2, 2015 at Marygrove, the Gray Wolves have also won 36 straight contests overall against WHAC foes including the conference tournament.

Home Sweet Home: Lourdes has enjoyed its new home, the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center thus far this season.  The Gray Wolves have posted a 6-0 record in the new facility, and are a perfect 18-for-18 winning sets.  In fact, the Gray Wolves have not even been extended to extra points in any set at home this year.

Among the Nation's Best: Lourdes ranks eighth in all of NAIA handing out 12.50 assists per set.  The Gray Wolves are also 11th in kills per set (13.55) and 15th in hitting percentage (.259).  Individually, Meghan Birr ranks 16th nationally dishing out 10.55 assists per night.

This and That: The team's 12-match winning streak is the second longest in program history behind the 32 straight from Aug. 21-Nov. 21, 2016 ... the Gray Wolves have not gone five sets in a match yet ... the Gray Wolves have dropped just two total sets to WHAC foes, winning 36 of their last 38 sets since league play began on Sept. 7 ... Lourdes is 3-2 against NAIA top-25 foes this season and 7-4 over the last two seasons ... all-time Lourdes is 10-20 against ranked opponents.
