Head Coach Jackie Donovan: In her second season on the Lourdes bench,

Series Notes: Taylor leads the all-time series against Lourdes 1-0 after notching a 1-0 victory in overtime on Sept. 19, 2015 at Wildcat Stadium. Rochester (Mich.) and Lourdes battled to a 0-0 double-overtime draw in the only prior contest between the two schools on Sept. 2, 2015 in Pontiac, Mich. in the first women's soccer game ever played by Lourdes.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Clare Ciarlino scored a pair of goals on Wednesday to give the Gray Wolves a 2-1 lead at Bethel (Ind.) at halftime, but a pair of second half goals by the Pilots, including the match-winner with 2:40 to play, gave the hosts a 3-2 win over Lourdes. On Saturday,
Halee Roberts scored the first goal of the match and
Jada Foster added an equalizer with 12:37 to play in regulation, but Cleary scored the match-winning goal with 2:04 remaining in overtime to defeat the Gray Wolves 3-2.
Scouting Taylor: The Trojans have opened the season with five straight victories after defeating Indiana Tech 3-1 on the road Friday evening. Nikki Zaino leads Taylor with three goals and six points while Bailey Zehr and Megan Kammer each have registered five points with two goals and an assist. Shelbi Lowe has a team-high three helpers for the Trojans. In goal, Lauren Engelkes has played a majority of the minutes and sports a 0.25 goals against average and a .941 save percentage for Taylor.

Ciarlino Continues Solid Start: Freshman
Clare Ciarlino continued her impressive rookie season, tallying her second multi-goal match of the season last Wednesday at Bethel (Ind.). Ciarlino also tallied two goals against Andrews and has five total goals on the season, just two shy of the school mark set by
Jada Foster with her seven goals last season.
Welcome Back Jada: Jada Foster made her season debut on Sunday at Cleary, and made an immediate impact. The sophomore scored the tying goal to help send the match into overtime with just 12:37 remaining on the clock for her eighth career goal, most in program history.
Roberts Scores First Collegiate Goal: Halee Roberts was at the right place at the right time on Sunday, knocking home a rebound from
Megan Soncrant's shot to put the Gray Wolves in front 1-0. For Roberts, the tally was the first of her collegiate career in just her fourth match. Soncrant's assist was also her first assist during her college career.
Looking to Move Over .500 in Non-Conference Play: Lourdes enters the week 5-6-1 in non-conference play over the program's first two seasons with this week's two contests remaining. The Gray Wolves went 3-3-1 last year before falling in a WHAC tournament match which counts as a non-conference contest and are 2-2 this year.
Jumping Out Quick Offensively: Lourdes has not trailed heading into halftime all season. The Gray Wolves held leads at intermission in its last three contests after heading into the break scoreless in the season opener.
Mixing Up the Lineup: Lourdes has had 16 different players draw at least one starting assignment already this season. In fact, only
Kiley Transit,
Clare Ciarlino,
Halee Roberts,
Tori Koontz,
Karlie O'Keefe, and
Kayla Lehmann have been on the pitch to begin all four matches.
Captains Named: Remy Houttekier,
Tara Blundell,
Kendyl Christian, and
Hayley Wagner will serve as the team's captains during the 2016 season. Houttekier is in her second season serving in the leadership role while Blundell, Christian, and Wagner are in year one.

Lourdes 15 goals through four matches equals the team's total from the entire 2015 season ... eight different players have scored this year and 11 different players have at least one point.
