SYLVANIA, Ohio – Following historic regular seasons for both programs, Lourdes University's men's and women's soccer teams were well represented in the 2025 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) All-Conference Awards, with 10 student-athletes receiving honors — including two positional superlatives and Coach of the Year recognition.
On the Women's side,
Taylir Lynam was named WHAC Midfielder of the Year and earned First Team All-WHAC honors following a dominant junior season. She was joined on the First Team by senior forward
Payton Childers, one of the league's most consistent offensive threats.
Three more Gray Wolves earned Second Team All-WHAC honors:
Freshman
Elliot Ryzyi was selected to the WHAC All-Newcomer Team, while
Hailey Dawson earned a spot on the Champions of Character Team for exemplifying the NAIA's core values.
Head coach
Jackie Phillips was named WHAC Coach of the Year after leading the Gray Wolves to one of the best seasons in program history, including a WHAC Semifinals appearance and double-digit wins.
On the men's side, junior Jannik Hoffman earned Second Team All-WHAC honors after helping anchor the midfield in a strong conference campaign.
Freshman standout Felipe Da Silva was selected to the WHAC All-Newcomer Team, making an immediate impact in his debut season. Breno Queroz was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team, in recognition for his leadership and for upholding the conference values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
In addition to these awards for on-field performance, 31 Gray Wolves were named to the WHAC All-Academic Team. To be on the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have been enrolled at their institution for a full academic year.
