Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: After six consecutive wins, Lourdes reaches the midway point of its regular season schedule this week, playing three matches including a pair of conference contests.  The Gray Wolves head to Aquinas on Wednesday to wrap up the season series with the Saints before hosting Indiana Tech on Friday night and Bethel (Ind.) in non-league play on Saturday.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his seventh season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 129-90 (.589) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his eighth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 148-125 (.542) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Aquinas holds a 5-3 series edge dating back to Oct. 7, 2011, but the Gray Wolves have won the last three meetings between the two schools, including a 3-0 sweep at the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center earlier this season on Sept. 9.  The two schools are 1-1 against each other all-time at Aquinas.  Lourdes and Indiana Tech are tied 5-5 all-time against one another dating back to Oct. 1, 2010.  The Gray Wolves have won the last four meetings against the Warriors, including all three last season in straight sets with the final meeting taking place in the WHAC semifinals.  Lourdes went 3-2 against Indiana Tech at Tam-o-Shanter.  Lourdes and Bethel (Ind.) have split their six previous meetings 3-3 dating back to Aug. 27, 2010.  The Gray Wolves have won the last three contests against the Pilots, including a 3-1 sweep in Mishawaka, Ind. last year.  Lourdes won the only meeting ever played at Tam-o-Shanter.

Earlier This Year: Lourdes defeated Aquinas 25-23, 25-14, 25-190 at the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center on Sept. 9.  The Gray Wolves hit .303 for the match, led by Stephanie Ruffing's 11 kills and Ave Stout's .615 hitting percentage.  Molly Shonk had 13 digs to lead the defense.  Kristina Danielson had 12 kills to lead Aquinas as the Saints hit .184.

Double Trouble: Stephanie Ruffing and Molly Shonk both registered double-doubles last Wednesday against Cornerstone.  Ruffing finished the night with 13 kills and 12 digs while Shonk had 10 kills and 10 digs.  The double-doubles are the fourth for each player this season.  The match marked the second time this season that the Gray Wolves have had two double-doubles in the same contest.  Shonk and Meghan Birr both accomplished the feat Sept. 16 at Lawrence Tech.
