Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: Lourdes is set to embark on its final multi-match road trip of the regular season this week, playing three matches in the state of Michigan.  The Gray Wolves head to Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday evening before heading to Michigan-Dearborn on Friday and Madonna on Saturday.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his eighth season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 161-101 (.615) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his ninth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 181-136 (.571) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes:  Lourdes holds a 12-1 all-time advantage against Concordia (Mich.) in a series that dates back to Aug. 20, 2010, and the inaugural match in program history.  The Gray Wolves have won 10 straight contests against the Cardinals, the last five via sweeps, after defeating Concordia in straight sets at the Ebeid Rec Center on Sept. 13.  Lourdes holds a 5-1 series edge in Ann Arbor, Mich.  Lourdes is 9-2 all-time against Michigan-Dearborn dating back to Aug. 28, 2010.  The Gray Wolves have won the last eight contests between the two schools, including six straight sweeps,  after downing the Wolverines 3-0 last season in the Ebeid Rec Center.  Lourdes is 4-2 all-time in Dearborn, Mich.  Madonna holds a 6-5 edge against Lourdes going back to Oct. 8, 2010, but the Gray Wolves have won the last four meetings between the two sides.  Last year Lourdes posted a 3-1 win over the Crusaders in the Ebeid Rec Center.  Madonna holds a 4-1 series edge in games played in Livonia, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Genessee Tate tallied 18 kills and hit .484 on Wednesday evening as Lourdes defeated Siena Heights 25-16, 23-25, 25-18, 25-13 in the Ebeid Rec Center.  Jami Markus handed out 56 assists and Emily Arnold tallied nine blocks in the victory.

Scouting Concordia (Mich.): The Cardinals have dropped five straight matches after losing in straight sets at Aquinas last Wednesday.  Rebecca McDonald leads the way with 179 kills and is hitting .21 while Hailey McCourt has handed out a team-high 390 assists.  McCourt also has a team-leading 22 service aces.  Defensively, Denae Tolu has recorded 305 digs while McDonald has a team-lading 49 blocks.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines enter the week having won three straight matches after sweeping William Penn on Saturday afternoon.  UM-Dearborn hosts Indiana Tech on Wednesday before entertaining Lourdes.  Shayla Smalls leads the Wolverines offensively with 199 kills and is hitting .232 while Sabrina Giacomini has handed out 354 assists.  Samantha Nash leads the team with 37 service aces.  Defensively, Heather Roberts has tallied 236 digs while Katherine Nealy has tallied a team-high 39 blocks.

Scouting Madonna: The Crusaders had their 15-match win streak snapped on Saturday, suffering a five-set loss to Olivet Nazarene.  Karlie Kelly leads Madonna with 350 kills and is hitting .249 while Lauren Korth has handed out 1,062 assists.  Korth also leads the Crusaders with 37 service aces.  Defensively, Alyssa Facione has tallied 423 digs while Amanda Hawkins has a team-high 114 blocks.

Arnold Sets School Blocks Record: Emily Arnold set a school single-match record for blocks on Wednesday with nine rejections against Siena Heights.  The Gray Wolf junior had a previous career high of eight blocks three times this season, sharing the previous record with Cierra Martinez and Stef Comte.

Tate Solid Offensively: Genessee Tate matched her career high with 18 kills on Wednesday against Siena Heights while also hitting a season-best .484 to lead the Gray Wolf offense.  The senior's hitting percentage was the second best of her career for a single match.

Roberson on a Roll: Tylar Roberson tallied her third double-double in her last four matches against Siena Heights, and in the process registered a new career high.  The freshman put down 16 kills, her second highest total of the season, while leading the team with a new career-best 20 digs in the victory.

Among the Nation's Leaders: Emily Arnold is ninth among all NAIA players averaging 1.26 blocks per set and is also 16th with 101 total blocks on the year.  Angelica Dippold ranks 15th nationally tallying 5.59 digs per set.  As a team, Lourdes is 20th in the country averaging 18.34 digs per set and 36th registering 2.11 blocks per set.  The Gray Wolves are also 47th nationally handing out 11.74 assists per set.

Home Sweet Home: Lourdes had its 30-match home court win streak snapped on Sept. 23 against Saint Xavier, a string that dated back to the end of the 2013 season.  The loss to the Cougars was also the first ever inside of the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.  The Gray Wolves have won three straight at home since then though, and are now 17-1 all-time inside the facility.

This and That: Emily Arnold is the only Gray Wolf to appear in all 80 sets this season ... Kristin Murrell had her team-leading 11th double-double of the year against Siena Heights ... Jami Markus handed out 56 assists against the Saints, a new career high for the red-shirt freshman ... Cierra Martinez had a career-best 11 kills in the win over Siena Heights.
