Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: The 2017 regular season comes to an end on Wednesday evening for Lourdes University, as the Gray Wolves celebrate Senior Night hosting Rochester (Mich.).  The Gray Wolves are battling for a first round bye in the upcoming WHAC tournament.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his eighth season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 163-104 (.610) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his ninth season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 183-139 (.568) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes:  Lourdes is 4-1 all-time against Rochester (Mich.) in a series that dates back to Aug. 21, 2010.  The Gray Wolves have won four straight meetings against the Warriors after downing Rochester in straight sets, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 earlier this season on Oct. 4 in Rochester Hills, Mich.  This will be the Warriors first trip to the Ebeid Rec Center, as their only other trip to Sylvania was a four-set Lourdes victory in 2010 at Tam-o-Shanter.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes dropped its first match ever in the Ebeid Rec Center against a WHAC foe on Wednesday as 18th-ranked Cornerstone defeated the Gray Wolves 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.  Kristin Murrell led Lourdes with nine kills and 12 digs in the loss.  On Saturday, Lourdes suffered a four-set loss, 18-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-22, at Aquinas to close out the road slate.  Tylar Roberson had a team-high 19 kills and added 14 digs while Emily Arnold hit .435 with 12 kills.

Scouting Rochester (Mich.): The Warriors enter their season finale having won two straight matches after defeating Concordia (Mich.) in five sets on the road Saturday evening.  Laura Wilson leads Rochester with 255 kills on the season while hitting .231 and Megan Juncaj has handed out a team-high 350 assists.  Miranda Fowler has added a team-best 42 service aces.  Defensively, Jenna Pomaville paces the Warriors with 292 digs while Hannah Dadles has recorded a team-best 51 blocks.

Thank You Seniors: Lourdes will honor its two seniors, Lauren Norman and Genessee Tate prior to Wednesday's match with Rochester.  Norman has been a member of the Gray Wolves' program for the past five seasons, appearing in 37 career matches.  Tate transferred to Lourdes prior to 2016, and has seen action in 59 contests with the Gray Wolves.

Playing at Home: Lourdes has assured itself of a home match in its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament contest.  The Gray Wolves will either host a first round match on Nov. 4 or a quarterfinal tilt on Nov. 8.  Lourdes is 6-2 at home this season and 17-2 all-time in the Ebeid Rec Center.

WHAC Tournament Info: The two division winners, Madonna, and Cornerstone, earn byes into the semifinals of the WHAC tournament while the next six teams, regardless of division, also qualify for postseason.  The third and fourth seeds earn byes to the quarterfinals, and will host the first round winners.   Saturday's first round features the fifth and sixth seeds hosting the seventh and eighth seeds.  Lourdes can clinch a quarterfinal berth with a win over Rochester or a loss by Aquinas at Siena Heights on Wednesday.  Should Aquinas win and Lourdes lose, tiebreakers will be used to determine the fourth seed.

Dippold Ranks Second All-Time in Digs, Surpassing 900 Digs: Angelica Dippold has moved into second place on Lourdes' career digs list with 902, passing Molly Shonk (2016-2017).  The sophomore is just 98 digs shy of 1,000 for her career, but trails the school record holder, Michi Jimenez (2012-2015) by 1,241 digs for the top spot.  Jimenez ended her four-year career with 2,143 career digs.

Tate Moves Into the Top-10: Genessee Tate has moved into the top-10 all-time at Lourdes with 423 career kills.  The senior also ranks eighth all-time in attack percentage at .219 and is sixth with 104 career blocks.

Career Assists List: Both Jami Markus and Sarah Wisser rank among the top-10 on Lourdes' career assists list.  Markus is currently seventh with 579 helpers while Wisser is ninth with 230 assists.

Arnold Sets School Blocks Record: Emily Arnold has set the school's single season blocks record with 119 already in 2017, surpassing Ave Stout's 2016 mark of 106.  Arnold had previously set a school single-match record for blocks with nine rejections against Siena Heights back on Oct. 11.  In one season, she already ranks fifth on the Gray Wolves' career blocks list as well.

Moving Up the Single Season Charts: Emily Arnold currently ranks seventh on the single season attack percentage list, hitting .283.  Jami Markus' 579 assists are seventh as well while Angelica Dippold ranks fourth with 451 assists this year.  Cierra Martinez has cracked the top-10 with 63 blocks.
