Amber Knodel has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Lourdes University beginning in the fall of 2018 head coach
Jackie Donovan has announced.
A native of Fairfield, Ohio, Knodel has been a four-year letterwinner at Fairfield High School. She earned Second Team All-Greater Miami Conference honors as a midfielder with the Indians.
"Amber's a resilient player who will look to make an impact in our midfield," Donovan stated. "We're excited for her arrival here at Lourdes."
Knodel has played club soccer for Cincinnati United Premier, where she has helped her team win the Region 2 championship.
She has excelled in the classroom as well at Fairfield, where she has been named a three-time GMC All-Academic Team selection. Upon her arrival at Lourdes, Knodel plans to major in nursing.
