Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: Lourdes begins the second half of its schedule this week, continuing Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play.  The Gray Wolves host Rochester (Mich.) on Wednesday evening before heading to Grand Rapids, Mich. over the weekend to face Cornerstone on Friday and Aquinas on Saturday.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his 10th season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 191-124 (.606) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his 11th season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 211-160 (.569) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Lourdes leads the all-time series against Rochester (Mich.) 7-1 dating back to Aug. 21, 2010.  Last year the Gray Wolves swept Rochester in both meetings.  Lourdes is 2-0 against the Warriors inside the Ebeid Rec Center and 3-0 all-time at home.  Cornerstone holds a 9-7 series edge against the Gray Wolves dating back to Oct. 8, 2011.  Last year the two sides split a pair of meetings, with each team winning in five sets on their own home floor.  The Golden Eagles are 5-0 all-time against Lourdes in Grand Rapids, Mich.  The series between Lourdes and Aquinas is tied 7-7 dating back to Oct. 7, 2011.  The Gray Wolves won last year's meeting at home in straight sets and the Saints won in five sets in Grand Rapids.  Aquinas holds a 3-2 series edge in Grand Rapids.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes swept then first place Madonna 25-17, 25-22, 25-20 on Wednesday evening at home behind 15 kills and 10 digs from Allie Hale.  The Gray Wolves added a 25-8, 26-24, 25-18 road sweep at Siena Heights on Friday as Emily Drenth hit .457 with 19 kills.  Lourdes stepped out of WHAC play for the final time this season on Saturday, falling at Findlay 25-18, 25-14, 25-20.  Hale and Kylee McBride each had a team-high seven kills for the Gray Wolves.

Scouting Rochester (Mich.): The Warriors are still looking for their first victory of the season after falling in straight sets to Aquinas on Saturday.  Jaelynn Block leads Rochester with 101 kills while Zoe Earl has handed out 234 assists.  Jenna Pomaville has a team-leading nine service aces.  Defensively, Kaitlyn Williams has recorded 183 digs for the Warriors while Block has registered 24 blocks.

Scouting Cornerstone: The Golden Eagles had their two-match winning streak snapped on Saturday, falling in three sets at Lawrence Tech.  Alexis Angus has a team-high 153 kills while hitting .314 and Kayla Clark has handed out 530 assists this season.  Bailey Cummings leads the team with 21 service aces.  Patsy Morris leads the defense with 270 digs while Angus has been involved in 50 blocks.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints have won two of their last three entering the week after sweeping Rochester (Mich.) on the road on Saturday.  Aquinas hosts Michigan-Dearborn and Siena Heights before entertaining Lourdes.  Kylie Christensen leads Aquinas with 164 kills while hitting .330 this year.  Kali Crawford has handed out 524 assists while Meredith Kraus leads the team with 21 service aces.  Karly Morris has posted a team-high 260 digs while Christensen has a team-leading 48 blocks.

Assis Earns WHAC Honor: Yasmin Assis was named the WHAC Setter of the Week for her efforts in three matches last week.  The junior averaged 12.0 assists and 2.5 digs per set for the Gray Wolves as Lourdes went 2-1 on the week.

Record-Setting Efforts: Yasmin Assis tied the Lourdes school record last Wednesday against Madonna with 42 assists in the three-set match, equalling the marks of Meghan Birr (2016) and Jami Markus (2017).  Assis then matched her effort with another 42 assists in three sets in the victory at Siena Heights.

Drenth Has Strong Hitting Night: Emily Drenth had the Gray Wolves' best hitting night of the season at Siena Heights last Friday.  The junior put down 19 kills while swinging at a .457 clip.  Her hitting percentage was the best on the team this season while her kill total was the second highest of the year.

Strong on Defense: Alli Plasencio has been sound as the Gray Wolves' libero throughout most of the season.  The junior has posted double figure dig totals in 11 of Lourdes 14 matches this season, posting a season-high 26 digs against Shawnee State in five sets.  Plasencio has amassed 20 or more digs four times, including a 22-dig effort in the sweep over Madonna last Wednesday.

In the Record Books: Lourdes has several players who rank among the top-10 all-time in program history in various statistical categories.  Angelica Dippold is second all-time with 1,424 career digs.  She is also sixth in matches played (98) and fourth in sets played (339).  Sarah Wisser is ranked ninth all-time with 329 career assists.

This and That: Lourdes ranks 44th in NAIA averaging 17.52 digs per set ... Lourdes hit a season-high .303 as a team in the win at Siena Heights ... the Gray Wolves have registered more service aces (80) than errors (76) this season ... Kylie McBride and Alli Plasencio are the only Gray Wolves to appear in all 48 sets this season.
