Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: After a week off from competition, Lourdes begins the second half of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play with three matches this week.  The Gray Wolves host Indiana Tech on Wednesday before taking to the road for the weekend to battle Michigan-Dearborn (Friday) and Concordia (Mich.) (Saturday).

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his 10th season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 192-127 (.602) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his 11th season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 212-163 (.565) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Lourdes leads the all-time series against Indiana Tech 9-6 dating back to Oct. 1, 2010.  The Gray Wolves had their eight-match winning streak against the Warriors snapped in the first meeting this season as Indiana Tech won in five sets in Fort Wayne, Ind.  Lourdes is 2-0 all-time against the Warriors inside the Ebeid Rec Center and 5-2 overall in home matches.  The Gray Wolves hold a 13-2 series edge against Michigan-Dearborn dating back to Aug. 28, 2010.  Lourdes has won 12 straight matches against the Wolverines after a sweep in the first meeting of the year inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Lourdes is 6-2 all-time in Dearborn, Mich.  The Gray Wolves are 16-1 all-time against Concordia (Mich.) in a series that began Aug. 20, 2010, and have won 14 straight against the Cardinals.  Lourdes swept the season's first meeting at home this year.  The Gray Wolves are 7-1 all-time in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Northwestern Ohio rallied from two sets down to defeat Lourdes 23-25, 22-25, 25-20, 27-25, 15-8 on Wednesday inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Kylee McBride led Lourdes with 18 kills and 13 digs while Emily Drenth added 17 kills and 15 digs.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors have won four consecutive matches after downing Spring Arbor and Trinity International in their home tournament last Saturday.  Olivia Niekamp leads Indiana Tech with 249 kills and is hitting .208 this season while Madison Park has handed out 559 assists.  Olivia Gessner has tallied a team-high 23 service aces.  Defensively, Madeline MacDonald leads the Warriors with 524 digs while Havilyn Cummings has registered 100 blocks, including 17 solos.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines enter the week having dropped seven of their last eight matches overall after falling at Rochester (Mich.) last Wednesday.  Michigan-Dearborn heads to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes.  Gina Giacomini leads the Wolverines with 159 kills while Daniella Barile has handed out a team-high 273 assists.  Mallory Lynch has recorded 29 service aces while leading the defense with 243 digs.  Regan Sliwinski has registered 68 blocks, including 12 of the solo variety.

Scouting Concordia (Mich.): The Cardinals enter the week having dropped 12 consecutive matches after falling to Thomas More and Spring Arbor on Saturday.  Concordia hosts Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday and Lawrence Tech on Friday before entertaining the Gray Wolves.  Lena Thompson has tallied a team-high 180 kills while Kaitlin Veihl has 393 assists.  Tara Schatzle and Gabrielle den Boer each have 19 aces this year.  Schatzle leads the Cardinals while 346 digs while Lindsey Luff has 43 blocks.

Double Double-Doubles: For just the second time this season, Lourdes had a pair of players record double-doubles in the same match last Wednesday against Northwestern Ohio.  Kylee McBride recorded the second of her career with 18 kills and 13 digs while Emily Drenth registered her first double-double of the year, notching 17 kills and 15 digs.

A Force in the Middle: Freshman Elise Sanford is having a solid freshman season for the Gray Wolves.  The middle blocker is hitting a team-leading .266 while adding 43 blocks defensively.

Dippold Moves Into Third All-Time in Aces: With three service aces against Northwestern Ohio, Angelica Dippold has moved past Hannah Thompson (2010-2011) and Stephanie Richards (2013-2016) and into third place all-time at Lourdes with 82 service aces.  The senior leads the Gray Wolves with 21 aces this season.

Assis Moving Up Setter's List: Yasmin Assis handed out 56 assists last Wednesday against Northwestern Ohio, and leads the Gray Wolves with 355 helpers this year.  Her total already ranks her ninth on the Lourdes career chart.

Home Schedule Nearing an End: After Wednesday's match with Indiana Tech, Lourdes will play just three of its final nine contests inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

This and That: Lourdes ranks 47th in NAIA averaging 11.52 assists per set ... Kylie McBride and Alli Plasencio are the only Gray Wolves to appear in all 63 sets this season ... Plasencio enters the week with 461 career digs, just 50 shy of moving into the program's top-10 for a career.
