Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: Lourdes takes to the road this week for a pair of matches to close out the 2019 regular season. Â The Gray Wolves head to Rochester (Mich.) for a Wednesday evening contest before ending the year on Saturday afternoon battling Northwestern Ohio.
Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his 10th season on the Lourdes bench,
Greg Reitz has a 195-132 (.596) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves. Â In his 11th season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 215-168 (.561) career mark. Â He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.
Series Notes: Lourdes is 8-1 all-time against Rochester (Mich.) dating back to the initial meeting on Aug. 21, 2010, and has won the last eight matches against the Warriors. Â Lourdes swept the first meeting of the year against Rochester, 25-16, 25-20, 25-14 inside the Ebeid Rec Center on Oct. 2. Â All-time, the Gray Wolves are 3-2 in matches played in Rochester Hills, Mich. Â Northwestern Ohio holds a 10-6 edge against Lourdes in a series that began Oct. 2, 2010. Â The Racers have won the last two matches between the two schools after posting a five-set win, 23-25, 22-25, 25-20, 27-25, 15-8 inside the Ebeid Rec Center on Oct. 9. Â The series is tied 3-3 in matches played in Lima, Ohio.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes rallied from two sets to one down to defeat Madonna 13-25, 25-15, 14-25, 25-21, 15-9 on Wednesday. Â

Cammy Smith all had 10 kills to lead the Gray Wolves while
Alli Plasencio tallied 22 digs. Â On Friday, Cornerstone defeated Lourdes 25-20, 15-25, 25-17, 25-20. Â McBride and
Kennedy Ames had nine kills each while Plasencio tallied 18 digs. Â Aquinas spoiled Senior Day for the Gray Wolves on Saturday with an 11-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-23 win. Â Drenth posted a team-high 10 kills while Plasencio had 21 digs.
Scouting Rochester (Mich.): The Warriors have dropped eight consecutive matches after falling in straight sets to Northwestern Ohio at home on Saturday. Â Jaelynn Block leads Rochester with 201 kills and is hitting .199 while Zoe Earl has handed out 534 assists. Â Jenna Pomaville has a team-leading 15 service aces. Â Defensively, Kaitlyn Williams has a team-high 362 digs while Block has 56 total blocks, including 21 solo rejections.
Scouting Northwestern Ohio: The Racers have won two of their last three matches entering the week following a sweep at Rochester (Mich.) on Saturday. Â Northwestern Ohio travels to Siena Heights on Wednesday before hosting the Gray Wolves for the regular season finale. Â Erika Angstmann leads Northwestern Ohio with 451 kills and is hitting .234 while Kayleigh Hulst has handed out 1,158 assists. Â Kacey Jaeger has a team-high 35 service aces. Â Defensively, Angstmann leads the Racers with 295 digs while Devon Heitkamp has 86 blocks, including 24 solos.
Looking to Secure the Seventh Seed: Lourdes needs just one victory or one loss by Siena Heights to secure the seventh seed for the upcoming WHAC tournament which begins on Nov. 13. Â The Gray Wolves have already secured a tournament berth, and are unable to move higher than seventh place in the final league standings.
Among the Nation's Leaders: Lourdes ranks among the NAIA leaders as a team in both digs per set this year. Â The Gray Wolves are 47th nationally in digs per set, tallying 17.79.
Single Season Digs List: Alli Plasencio has moved into 10th place on the Gray Wolves' single season digs list with 442 this year. Â She needs just 10 more digs to jump all the way up into the top-five.
Digging Balls: Angelica Dippold is second on the school's career digs list with 1,588, trailing just record-holder
Michi Jimenez's (2012-2015) total of 2,143 digs. Â
Alli Plasencio has jumped into seventh place on the career charts with 626 digs in two seasons, and is just 43 behind
Stephanie Richards (2013-2016) for sixth all-time.
Dippold Third All-Time in Aces: Angelica Dippold continues to move up the career list in service aces. Â The senior has moved into third place all-time at Lourdes with 92 service aces. Â She is 12 aces behind
Stef Comte (2013-2016) for second place.
On the Assist List: Both
Yasmin Assis and
Sarah Wisser rank among the top-10 all-time at Lourdes in assists. Â Assis is ninth with 406 helpers while Wisser is 10th with 362 career assists.
Lots of Action: Angelica Dippold ranks third in program history appearing in 384 total sets over her four-year career. Â Dippold has seen action in 110 total matches, fourth most ever by a Lourdes women's volleyball player.
This and That: Kylie McBride and
Alli Plasencio are the only Gray Wolves to appear in all 95 sets this season ... Lourdes 14 service aces at Madonna were a season high ... the victory over Madonna marked the first time this year the Gray Wolves won a match with fewer kills than their opponents ... every Gray Wolf to see the court this season has registered at least one assist.
