Lourdes posted a first round score of 363 on Saturday afternoon and is in second place midway through the ONU Fall Invitational held at Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio.

The Gray Wolves are six shots in front of third place Heidelberg while host Ohio Northern leads the team race after carding 324 over the opening 18 holes.

"Our ladies are starting to find their games," head coach
Gil Guerrero said afterwards. "We played really well at time and just need to be a little more consistent."

Makenzie Fannin (Centerburg, Ohio/Centerburg H.S.) and
Skyler Henry (Swartz Creek, Mich./Swartz Creek H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves, each carding rounds of 88 on the 5,800-yard, par-73 layout. For Henry, it matched her collegiate best round. The duo are tied for fifth midway through the tournament.

Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.), making her collegiate debut, fired a 93 for the Gray Wolves while
Jenne' Venier (Pemberville, Ohio/Eastwood H.S.) added a 94 to complete the Lourdes scoring.Â
Tina Kindler (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll H.S.) also made her Lourdes debut on Saturday, with the freshman firing a round of 101.

Lydia Cranmer holds the first round lead after shooting 74, three shots better than teammate Annika Neumann.

Lourdes will return to Colonial Golfers Club on Sunday morning for the final round of the event. Action begins at 10 a.m.
