OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. – The Lourdes women's golf team finished with a season-best +70 score in the Lourdes Invite on Friday afternoon.
The Gray Wolves finished in sixth place out of the 12 teams that competed in the tournament, finishing ahead of WHAC competitors, Cornerstone, Madonna, Defiance, Indiana Tech and Rochester. Cleary, Michigan-Dearborn, and Lawrence Tech were the only conference foes who finished higher than Lourdes; all of which were within 11 strokes of the Gray Wolves.
NCAA D-3 Program Albion finished with the best overall team score in the tournament. The tournament's final team results are below.

Lawrence Tech's Cadance Beuckelare finished with the best individual score in the tournament with a +2. Michigan-Deaborn's Megan Rogers finished in second place with a +5 despite leading the event for 16 out of the 18 holes. Tied for third place was Cleary's Lauryn Jerke and Albion's Anna Schaibly, both of whom scored an even 80. Rounding out the all-tournament team was Davenport's Taegen Skatzka and Albion's Payton LaRow, both of whom scored 82's.
Lourdes' leader in the tournament was
Claire Recker. Claire finished with an 83, one stroke out of the all-tournament team.
Shauna White also had a very solid event for the Gray Wolves, finishing in 10
th place individually with an 85.
