Lourdes wrapped up the fall portion of its inaugural season on Saturday afternoon, suffering a 7-0 setback to Ashland at the Karl Tennis Complex in Ashland, Ohio.
 
The Eagles opened the match taking a pair of doubles contests for the first point of the day.  Annsley Mann (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) and Vanessa Skouroukos (Toledo, Ohio/Waite H.S.) suffered a 6-1 defeat at the top spot while Kylie Krupp (Sylvania, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) and Niki Polce (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.S.) fell 6-0 at second doubles.
 
In singles play, Ashland (7-2) won each match in straight sets.  Mann fell 6-1, 6-3 at the top spot while Skouroukos was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at number two singles.  Krupp dropped a 6-3, 6-1 contest at third singles and Polce suffered a 6-0, 6-0 setback at the fourth spot.  Erynn Groll (Oregon, Ohio/Clay H.S.) was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles.
 
Lourdes (0-6) will return to action in February to resume the regular season along with beginning Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play.
