Upcoming in Gray Wolves Soccer: Lourdes continues Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play with a pair of matches.  The Gray Wolves conclude their two-match homestand on Wednesday as the Gray Wolves entertain Indiana Tech before taking to the road on Saturday evening to face Rochester (Mich.).

Head Coach Jackie Phillips: In her fifth season on the Lourdes bench, Jackie Phillips has a 28-43-6 (.403) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves as well as overall as a head coach.  She is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Indiana Tech holds a 3-1 series edge dating back to Oct. 10, 2015.  The last two meetings between the two schools have gone to double overtime, with the Warriors winning both matches as part of their current three-match winning streak in the series.  Last year, Indiana Tech was a 2-1 victor in Fort Wayne, Ind.  The two sides have split a pair of matches at Wildcat Stadium.  Lourdes and Rochester (Mich.) are 1-1-2 against each other in a series that began Sept. 2, 2015.  Last season the Warriors scored a 3-2 victory over the Gray Wolves at Wildcat Stadium.  Lourdes leads the series 1-0-1 in Pontiac, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes opened WHAC play on Wednesday afternoon, suffering a 6-1 setback to fourth-ranked Northwestern Ohio on the road.  Chloe Shaffer scored the lone goal for the Gray Wolves while Kerstyn Williams made nine saves in goal.  On Saturday, Lourdes rallied with a Abigail Mann goal with 7:10 to play to force overtime and Katie Varney notched the match winner with 36 seconds left in the extra session as the Gray Wolves downed Michigan-Dearborn 5-4 at home.  Mann and Varney both had two goals while Morgan Henkle added another.  Williams made eight stops in goal.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors have dropped four straight matches after falling 3-0 at home to Aquinas on Saturday.  Megan Clifton leads Indiana Tech with six points on two goals and two assists while Bailey Elliott and Elaina Monroe both have two tallies and a helper.  In goal, Ally Zenda has played a majority of the minutes, sporting a 1.95 goals against average and a .735 save percentage.

Scouting Rochester (Mich.): The Warriors are still looking for their first victory of the season after falling 11-0 at Northwestern Ohio on Saturday.  Rochester hosts Siena Heights on Wednesday before entertaining Lourdes.  Cassidy Kowalski leads the Warriors with four goals and nine points while Taryn Ryan has added a pair of goals.  Megan Swanker has played most of the minutes in goal for Rochester ,sporting a 3.74 goals against average and a .747 save mark.

A Rare Overtime Win: Lourdes had won just one prior overtime match in 14 tries before Saturday's extra session victory over Michigan-Dearborn.  The Gray Wolves entered the contest 1-7-6 all-time in overtime, with the lone other victory coming against Lawrence Tech, 2-1, on Oct. 20, 2017.  Last season Lourdes went 0-2-2 when playing beyond 90 minutes.

Mann Matches School Mark for Points in a Match: With two goals and two assists against Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday, Abigail Mann tied the school's single match record with six points.  Clare Ciarlino and Isabelle Karamuco both registered six point matches on Sept. 2, 2016 in a victory over Andrews.

Multi-Goal Efforts: Both Abigail Mann and Katie Varney scored twice in the victory over Michigan-Dearborn.  For Mann it was her second collegiate multi-goal effort after scoring twice earlier this season against Rio Grande on Sept. 1.  Varney's two goals marked the first multi-goal effort as a Gray Wolf, but the junior also had two goals as a freshman while playing for Davenport against Saint Francis (Ill.).

Second Best Start in Program History: Lourdes is off to its second best start in program history, entering the week 5-3 overall.  Only the 2017 squad posted a better record through eight contests, starting the year 5-2-1 on the way to an 8-8-2 campaign.  With a victory on Wednesday, the Gray Wolves would better the start of 2017 though, as that team dropped its next three contests.

Historic Goal: Chloe Shaffer's tally at Northwestern Ohio last Wednesday marked the first time the Gray Wolves had found the back of the net against a NAIA top-25 foe in program history.  The match was the ninth all-time for Lourdes against a nationally ranked opponent.

Experience in the Lineup: Karlie O'Keefe is the school's career record holder having made 59 career starts, 22 more than any other player in program history.  Her 59 all-time matches played ranks second in program history, two shy of Helena Rammal's (2015-2018) record of 61 starts.  In addition, Lauren Poslaiko has moved into for fourth all-time with, having stepped onto the field 45 times in her four years.  Poslaiko and Maria Schmidt have moved into a tie for second behind O'Keefe with 37 career starting assignments.

Goalkeeping Marks: Kerstyn Williams has moved into second place all-time at Lourdes with 135 career saves.  Only Kiley Transit (2016-2018), who had 259 career stops, has more in a Gray Wolf uniform.  In addition, Williams is second all-time at Lourdes for minutes played in goal, having spent 1719:27 between the posts in three seasons.  Williams also has five career shutouts, one behind Erika Brinkman's (2015) career record of six.

This and That: Lourdes is 4-1 at home this season and 19-18-3 all-time at Wildcat Stadium ... Abigail Mann's 14 shot attempts against Michigan-Dearborn set a new program single match record ... Lauren Poslaiko became the 12th Gray Wolf this season to register a point with her assist at Northwestern Ohio.
