Day 1 Results
Lourdes equaled its best round of the fall season on Monday at Twin Lakes Golf Club in Oakland Township, Mich., and is in ninth place midway through the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference jamboree of the season.
The Gray Wolves fired a team round of 363, and are just four strokes behind eighth place Cornerstone in the overall standings through 18 holes. Indiana Tech leads the way after firing a round of 299, five stroke better than second place Northwestern Ohio.
Makenzie Fannin (Centerburg, Ohio/Centerburg H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with a season's best round of 87, and is tied for 28
th place in the overall standings.
Skyler Henry (Swartz Creek, Mich./Swartz Creek H.S.) added an 89 on the 6,009-yard, par-71 layout.
Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.), completing just her second round of the season, carded a 93 for the Gray Wolves while
Tina Kindler (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll H.S.) shot 94 to conclude the Lourdes scoring.
Jenne' Venier (Pemberville, Ohio/Eastwood H.S.) rounded out the Gray Wolf lineup with a 99.
Northwestern Ohio's Hastha Rajendran leads the individual standings after firing a one-over par round of 72, one shot better than Indiana Tech's Carissa Graft and Kim Siercks.
Lourdes will return to Twin Lakes Golf Club on Tuesday morning for the final 18 holes of the jamboree. Action begins at 10 a.m.
