In a contest that came down to the final singles match, Concordia (Mich.) escaped with a 4-3 victory over Lourdes at Shadow Valley.

Lourdes erased a 3-1 deficit to even the score at three after dropping the doubles point.  Erynn Groll (Oregon, Ohio/Clay H.S.) and Ari Rodriguez (Columbus, Ohio/Westerville Central H.S.) posted a 6-3 victory for the Gray Wolves at third doubles, but the Cardinals won at both of the top two spots.

Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) earned her first collegiate victory for Lourdes (0-11, 0-3 WHAC) at No. 4 singles with a 6-4, 6-3 win against Payton Woodruff.  Vanessa Skouroukos (Toledo, Ohio/Waite H.S.) followed with a 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 victory at the second slot, and Niki Polce (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.s.) fought off numerous match points to win 6-1, 4-6, 14-12 at third singles.

Annsley Mann (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) was the remaining Gray Wolf with the team score tied at the. The freshman dropped the opening set 6-4, but responded with a 7-5 second set victory. The Cardinals' Charity Felton took the deciding set 6-1 to win the match for Concordia (2-7, 1-1).
