Final Results

Dominick Brock (Grant, Mich./Grant H.S.) earned Lourdes' lone victory on Saturday as the Gray Wolves concluded the fall with their first dual match of the season, suffering an 8-1 setback to Wittenberg at the Albright Tennis Complex in Springfield, Ohio.
 
Brock downed Eli Reed 6-2, 7-6 (3) at fourth singles for his first win of the season.
 
"We elevated our play today against a steady division three opponent," head coach Epifani Jones said afterwards.  "Brock was a wall of fortitude on clutch points."
 
The Tigers picked up wins at fifth and sixth singles and third doubles by default.  Lourdes' Ulises Barradas (Nueva Esparta, Venezuela/UE Colegio Madre Guadalupe) dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision at the top of the singles lineup while Alvaro Trillo-Sanchez (Madrid, Spain/Churchill County [Nev.]) suffered a 6-3, 6-1 setback in the second spot.  Kareem Badr (Orlando, Fla./Montverde Academy), making his season debut, fell 6-0, 6-2 at third singles.
 
In doubles action, Barradas and Trillo-Sanchez fell 8-2 at number one while Badr and Brock dropped an 8-0 decision at the second spot.
 
Lourdes (0-1) will return to the courts in the spring to resume the Gray Wolf season.
