Final Results

Lourdes continued its road swing on Friday afternoon, dropping a 7-0 decision in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action at Northwestern Ohio inside of Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center.
 
"It was a tough battle today, but I saw a lot of positive things from the women today," head coach Megan Miller said afterwards.  "They show a lot of promise for the rest of the season as they are competing really well against the top teams in the conference."
 
Annsley Mann (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) and Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) dropped a 6-2 decision at second doubles while Vanessa Skouroukos (Toledo, Ohio/Waite H.S.) and a (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.S.) fell 6-0 at the top spot.
 
"The doubles keep getting better with every match," Miller added.  "I'm excited to see them play again tomorrow."
 
In singles action, Skouroukos dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision at number two while Northwestern Ohio (5-2, 2-0 WHAC) won the other three contests 6-0, 6-0.
 
Lourdes (0-5, 0-3) will host Concordia (Mich.) on Saturday evening inside of Shadow Valley-Maumee.  First serve against the Cardinals is set for 5:30 p.m.
