Final Results
Playing at home at Shadow Valley-Maumee for the first time this season, Lourdes won two singles and one doubles contest on Saturday evening, but Concordia (Mich.) picked up the match victory 5-2 over the Gray Wolves.

"It was a battle today and I am so, so proud of the women and they way that they fought today," head coach
Megan Miller said afterwards. "The doubles was so clean and the singles was a grind but all of them stayed out there for their teammates which was fantastic to see. They really did fight today, and I am so proud of how far they have come since January."

In doubles action,
Niki Polce (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.S.) and
Vanessa Skouroukos (Toledo, Ohio/Waite H.S.) teamed for a 6-3 victory at the top doubles spot while
Annsley Mann (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) and
Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) dropped a tight 6-4 contest at the second spot. Concordia (3-3, 2-0 WHAC) took the doubles point with a default win at the third spot.

In singles, Polce again was victorious, notching a 6-3, 7-5 win at third singles. Mann also was triumphant at the top of the order, winning 6-4, 7-5. Skouroukos won her opening set at the second spot before falling 4-6, 6-0, 6-3. Bucher also had a close match at fourth singles, dropping a 6-4, 7-5 decision.

Lourdes (0-6, 0-4) is currently scheduled to return to the courts on April 2, traveling to Spring Arbor, Mich. to face Spring Arbor. Action begins at 3 p.m. at the Jones Tennis Complex.
