Head Coach Jackie Phillips: In her sixth season on the Lourdes bench, Jackie Phillips has a 33-57-6 (.375) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves as well as overall as a head coach.  She is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes holds a 2-1-1 all-time advantage against Bethel (Ind.) in a series that began Sept. 7, 2016.  The Gray Wolves won the last meeting on Sept. 7, 2019 3-0 at Wildcat Stadium and are unbeaten against the Pilots (2-0-1) over the last three matches.  Lourdes is 2-0 against Bethel at Wildcat Stadium.  The Gray Wolves hold a 2-1-2 series edge against Rochester (Mich.) dating back to Sept. 2, 2015.  Last season Lourdes posted a 4-0 win over the Warriors in Pontiac, Mich.  Rochester is 1-0-1 against Lourdes all-time at Wildcat Stadium though.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes battled 11th-ranked Northwestern Ohio throughout on Wednesday (March 3), but the Racers scored a goal in the 35th minute to earn the 1-0 victory over the Gray Wolves.  Kerstyn Williams made four saves for Lourdes in the setback.

Scouting Bethel (Ind.): The Pilots have dropped nine straight matches following a 3-0 setback to Holy Cross (Ind.) on Feb. 12 in their lone spring match.  Bethel has scored just three goals this season with Reyna Cruz, Madison Byers, and Chloe Crompton recording the tallies.  Nicole Fosnough has a team-high two assists.  In goal, Kristen Terrell has played a majority of the minutes, sporting a 5.38 goals against average and a .553 save percentage.

Scouting Rochester (Mich.): The Warriors have dropped five straight matches following a 5-0 setback at home against Northwestern Ohio on Saturday (March 6).  Rochester plays at Cornerstone on Wednesday before visiting Lourdes.  Taryn Ryan leads the Warriors with four goals and nine points this season while Kirsten Schapman has a team-high three assists.  In goal, Skylar Zaranek has played a majority of the minutes, sporting a 7.06 goals against average and a .597 save percentage.

Thanks Seniors: Lourdes will honor four seniors that are concluding their careers this season.  Maddy Fleming, Hannah Martin, Jenna Penz, and Maria Schmidt will all be recognized prior to Saturday's match against Rochester (Mich.).

Williams Extends Career Shutout Mark: Kerstyn Williams recorded her second shutout of the season, adding to her career record at Lourdes, in the victory over Point Park on Feb. 26.  Williams now has eight clean sheets over her four years, two more than the previous mark of six set by Erika Brinkman (2015).

Williams Owns Another Mark: Kerstyn Williams has also become the Gray Wolves' all-time leader with 273 career saves.  She passed Kiley Transit (2016-2018) who finished her career with 259 stops, earlier this spring.

More School Records: Kerstyn Williams continues to move closer to several other school records in goal in addition to the shutout and saves records she just set.  The senior goalkeeper ranks tied the program mark for matches played in goal (44) with Kiley Transit (2016-2018), and is second in minutes played in goal (3384:26).  She is 35:45 shy of Transit's minutes mark as well.  Williams' career save percentage of .794 and goals against average of 1.89 are currently program records as well.

In the Record Book: Abigail Mann scored her eighth career goal against Point Park, moving her into a tie for fourth on the Gray Wolves' all-time scoring chart with Jada Foster (2015-2016).  Mann is one goal behind Remy Houttekier's (2015, 2017) third place total of nine career goals.  Katie Varney ranks sixth on the all-time goals list, one behind Mann and Foster.  Mann is also fourth in school history with 22 career points while Varney is fifth with 18.

Lots of Appearances: Maria Schmidt ranks second all-time at Lourdes with 54 starts wearing the terra cotta and black.  She trails just Karlie O'Keefe (2016-2019) who started 68 contests during her time with the Gray Wolves.  Schmidt also is fourth in all-time appearances with 55, trailing Alyssa Swanson (2015-2018) by three matches for third.  Erin Caldwell has moved into fourth with 40 career starting assignments, just four behind Poslaiko for third place.

Captains: Kerstyn Williams and Olivia Pomponio are all serving as the team's co-captains for the spring season.  Both are in their first season in the leadership role.
