Final Results
Playing at home for the final time this fall, Lourdes turned in a third place finish at its Gray Wolf Invitational on Monday at Sylvania Country Club.
The Gray Wolves posted a round of 350, 10 shots ahead of Madonna in the field of nine schools. Ohio Northern won the tournament at 335, one stroke ahead of runner-up Ohio Dominican.
Emma Mulder (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with an 83 to finish in a tie for fifth place individually while
Tina Kindler (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll H.S.) added a top-10 finish with her tie for 10
th after carding an 85.
Morgan Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) fired an 88 while
Hannah Craig (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.) carded an 89.
Shauna White (Somerset, Ohio/Sheridan H.S.) and
Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) posted rounds of 94 and 95 respectively.
Quirine ter Meulen of Rio Grande was the medalist with a six-over par round of 78 on the 5,897-yard layout, winning by two strokes over Grace Honigford of Ohio Northern.
Lourdes will head to the 36-hole Beaver Fall Classic on Saturday and Sunday. Action begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Bluffton Golf Club in Bluffton, Ohio.
