Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: The stretch run has arrived for Lourdes women's volleyball as the Gray Wolves look to solidify a spot in the WHAC tournament.  Lourdes hosts Lawrence Tech on Wednesday before playing its final regular season road match Friday night at Michigan-Dearborn.  The Gray Wolves return home Saturday for a battle with Siena Heights.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his 13th season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 225-179 (.557) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his 15th season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 245-215 (.533) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Lourdes leads the all-time series against Lawrence Tech 17-5 dating back to Sept. 17, 2011.  The Blue Devils won this season's first meeting in straight sets on Sept. 28 in Southfield, Mich.  The Gray Wolves hold a 3-1 series edge inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Lourdes is 15-4 all-time against Michigan-Dearborn in a series that began Aug. 28, 2010.  The Wolverines won this year's first contest on Oct. 1 in four sets inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Lourdes is 7-3 against Michigan-Dearborn in Dearborn, Mich.  Lourdes holds a 14-13 series edge against Siena Heights dating back to Sept. 10, 2010.  The Saints have won the last three meetings though, including a sweep in Adrian, Mich. on Sept. 30.  The Gray Wolves are 3-2 against the Saints in the Ebeid Rec Center.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes fell 24-26, 25-21, 25-16, 14-25, 15-11 at Indiana Tech on Wednesday despite 16 kills and 11 digs from Jolie Sobb.  Alli Plasencio also had 21 digs.  On Friday, Madonna downed the Gray Wolves 25-18, 13-25, 17-25, 25-15, 15-9 with McKenna Hall leading the way with 14 kills while Plasencio tallied 22 digs.  Saturday, Lourdes swept Rochester (Mich.) 25-17, 25-14, 25-21.  Abby Gentile had 13 kills and hit .323 while Plasencio registered 38 digs.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils have dropped two straight matches after falling in straight sets to Siena Heights on Saturday.  Lindsay Hubler leads the way offensively with 245 kills while Madeline Hudson is hitting .281.  Abby Zambeck has handed out a team-high 895 assists and Charley Klint has recorded 48 service aces.  Defensively, Rachel Rochon has 376 digs while Catelyn Chapin has tallied 49 blocks.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines enter the week having won three straight after defeating Madonna in four sets on Saturday.  Michigan-Dearborn visits Aquinas on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes.  Sydney Eggleton leads the way with 301 kills this season while Regan Sliwinski is swinging at a .289 clip and has a team-high 39 service aces.  Regan Rose has dished out 939 assists.  Defensively, Kenzie Mertz has 473 digs while Brooke Wetherill has 137 blocks, including 15 of the solo variety.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints enter the week having won four straight matches after defeating Lawrence Tech in straight sets on Saturday.  Siena Heights hosts Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday before visiting Lourdes.  Devyne Eisenhauer has a team-high 278 kills this season while Olivia Norman is hitting a team-leading .255.  Aubrey Bates has handed out 947 assists as well as a team-best 42 service aces.  On defense, Payton Osborne has tallied 372 digs while Norman has tallied 104 blocks, including 23 of the solo type.

A Bunched Standings: Entering the final two weeks, Lourdes is seventh in the WHAC standings with the top-eight teams qualifying for the league tournament.  The Gray Wolves are just one-half game out of sixth place but only 1.5 games ahead of 10th with four matches remaining.

Plasencio Reaches 2,000: Alli Plasencio became just the second Gray Wolf in program history to reach the 2,000-dig plateau, doing so Friday night at Madonna.  She enters the week with 2,041, trailing just Michi Jimenez's (2012-2015) 2,143 digs on the all-time charts.  Plasencio has tallied double figure dig totals in all 25 matches thus far this season and in 46 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Going the Distance: Lourdes had never played more than two consecutive five-set contests in program history prior to the four straight matches that went the distance between Oct. 14 and Oct. 21.  

Plasencio All Over the Record Books: Alli Plasencio also ranks second all-time with 120 service aces, trailing just Lexie Curtis' (2013-2016) 164 on the chart.  With her last set played, Plasencio set the career mark at Lourdes having appeared in 470 stanzas.  Plasencio is also third having played in 129 career matches, three appearances shy of Jimenez for second all-time in a Lourdes uniform.

Also in the Record Books: Cammy Smith has climbed into fourth place on the blocks list with 184, trailing Ave Stout (2015-2016) by 10 for third place.  Katey Stakolich is fourth in school history with 1,220 career assists, needing 69 more to match Allegra Recknagel (2012-2013) for third place.

This and That: Alli Plasencio is the lone Gray Wolf to appear in all 89 sets this season ... the 16 service aces against Madonna were third most in a match in program history ... Plasencio's 38 digs against Rochester (Mich.) set a new school mark for a three-set match ... Katey Stakolich leads the team with four double-doubles while McKenna Hall and Jolie Sobb have three double-doubles each.
