Final Results

Facing its second NAIA top-25 foe of the season on Monday afternoon, Lourdes fought 25^th-ranked Indiana Tech in each match before falling 7-0 inside of Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne, Ind.
 
"Men's tennis continues to show steady improvement as we progress through the season," head coach Epifani Jones said afterwards.  "Every team member is owning his role, and the combination of commitments is promising."
 
Ulises Barradas (Nueva Esparta, Venezuela/UE Colegio Madre Guadalupe) and Victor Dieltiens (Altea, Spain/Sint Eduardus [Belgium]) had a tight match at first doubles before falling 6-3 while Niladri Aich (Cooch Behar, Ind./Maumee Valley Country Day [Ohio] H.S. and Dominick Brock (Grant, Mich./Grant H.S.) fell at third doubles by the same score.  At second doubles, Alvaro Trillo-Sanchez (Madrid, Spain/Churchill County [Nev.] H.S.) and Kareem Badr (Orlando, Fla./Montverde Academy) fell 6-0.
 
Dieltiens battled at number two singles to a 6-2, 6-2 setback while Badr won a team-high three games in set two at the fourth spot before dropping a 6-0, 6-3 decision.  Aich fell 6-1, 6-0 at number six while Trillo-Sanchez and Brock each dropped 6-0, 6-0 decisions at third and fifth singles respectively.  Barradas was even 2-2 in the first set before having to retire.
 
Lourdes (0-5, 0-4 WHAC) has three weeks off before returning to the courts against Capital on March 20.  First serve at Shadow Valley is set for noon.
