Final Results
Victor Dieltiens (Altea, Spain/Sint Eduardus [Belgium]) and
Ulises Barradas (Nueva Esparta, Venezuela/UE Colegio Madre Guadalupe) won in both singles and doubles for Lourdes on Sunday afternoon, but Capital claimed the match 5-2 at Shadow Valley.
Dieltiens posted a straight sets victory, 6-3, 6-0 over Leonardo Abreau at the top of the Gray Wolf lineup while Barradas was a 6-1, 6-1 victor against Alex Stout at second singles.

Epifani Jones said afterwards. "Barradas and Dieltiens are providing necessary leadership at the top and are pushing each other forward. The team rallied to adjust to the absence of Alvaro Trillo, who is a strong presence in the center of the lineup, but overall, the momentum rises.
Kareem Badr (Orlando, Fla./Montverde Academy) and
Niladri Aich (Cooch Behar, India/Maumee Valley Country Day H.S. [Ohio]) both forced a set to a tie-break before dropping their matches. Badr fell 7-6 (2), 6-1 at the third spot while Aich suffered a 6-4, 7-6 (2) setback at number four singles.
Dominick Brock (Grant, Mich./Grant H.S.) fell at fifth singles 6-3, 6-0.
In doubles action, Dieltiens and Barradas teamed for an 8-4 triumph at the top spot over Abreu and Stout for their first victory as a duo. Aich and Brock dropped their second doubles match 8-2.
Lourdes (0-6) is slated to return to the courts on Friday afternoon as the Gray Wolves travel to Adrian, Mich. to battle Adrian. First serve is set for 3 p.m. at the Craft Tennis Complex.
