Final Results

Lourdes wrapped up the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference portion of its schedule on Saturday morning, dropping a 7-0 decision to the University of Northwestern Ohio at Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center in Lima, Ohio.
 
Antonella Caro (Brampton, Ont./Holy Cross Catholic Academy) and Niki Polce (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.S.) teamed at number one doubles for the Gray Wolves while Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) and Winter Richburg (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) played at the second spot.  Both teams fell to the Racers by 6-0 decisions.
 
Northwestern Ohio (6-10, 3-1 WHAC) swept the singles matches in straight sets and won at the fifth and sixth spots by default.  Caro retired in the second set at the top spot, trailing 6-0, 1-0 while Polce dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision at number two.  Bucher suffered a 6-0, 6-0 setback at third singles while Richburg lost a 6-0, 6-1 match at number four.
 
Lourdes (1-5, 1-5) will be idle until the WHAC tournament on April 29 in Grand Rapids, Mich.  The league will announce tournament pairings following the completion of the regular season for all schools.
