Final Results

Lourdes wrapped up the 2021-2022 tennis campaign on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 4-3 decision to Grace Christian at Grandville High School in Grandville, Mich.
 
The Tigers won the opening doubles point despite Lourdes winning at the top of the lineup.  The team of Mallory Schardt (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) and Niki Polce (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.S.) teamed for an 8-0 shutout.  The Gray Wolf duo of Antonella Caro (Brampton, Ont./Holy Cross Catholic Academy) and Winter Richburg (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) fell 8-5 at the second spot and Grace Christian took third doubles by default.
 
Schardt won in straight sets at the top of the singles order 6-2, 6-4 while Caro was a 6-3, 6-1 victor at the second spot.  Polce tallied a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at third singles but Richburg fell 6-2, 6-0 at the fourth slot on the lineup.  Grace Christian took fifth and sixth singles by default to secure the match.
