Day 1 Results

After 36 holes, Lourdes is in a tie with Spring Arbor for fourth place just three shots out of second at the Cardinal Classic held at Washtenaw Golf Club in Ann Arbor, Mich.
 
The Gray Wolves shot rounds of 362 and 356 for a two-round total of 718, matching the mark fired by the Cougars.  The two schools are just two strokes behind third place Cleary and three shots behind second place Aquinas heading into the final day.  Siena Heights leads the way with a score of 700 (355-345).
 
Emma Mulder (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) led the way for Lourdes with rounds of 89 and 82 for a 36-hole total of 171.  She is tied with Skylar Whitman of Siena Heights for second place, just three shots in back of leader Sydnie Redovich of Spring Arbor.
 
Morgan Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) carded rounds of 93 and 87 to finish the day at 180 while Shauna White (Somerset, Ohio/Sheridan H.S.) added rounds of 90 and 93.  Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) also carded an opening round 90 on the 5,552-yard, par-72 layout before shooting 97 in round two.  Hannah Craig (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.) rounded out the lineup, posting a 97 before rebounding with a 94 in round two.
 
Lourdes will close out tournament play on Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
