Final Results
Returning to the course for the first time in just over a week, Lourdes posted a fifth place finish on Wednesday at the Aquinas Invitational held at Kaufman Golf Course in Wyoming, Mich.
The Gray Wolves posted a team score of 354, just one shot behind fourth place Siena Heights and three strokes in front of third place Aquinas. Spring Arbor won the tournament at 341, six shots ahead of runner-up Cleary.
Tina Kindler (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves, tying for ninth overall with a round of 87.
Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) and
Emma Mulder (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) were one shot behind Kindler on the 5,759-yard, par-72 layout.
Morgan Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) finished with a round of 91 to conclude the Lourdes scoring while
Shauna White (Somerset, Ohio/Sheridan H.S.) carded a 92 to complete the lineup.
Spring Arbor's Caitlin Lysher won the tournament with a four-over par round of 76, four strokes ahead of runner-up Autumn Blaney of Cleary.
Lourdes will return to action Oct. 3-4 as the Gray Wolves take part in the WHAC Preview. Action is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. each day at Stonehedge Golf Club in Augusta, Mich.
