Playing the first of two home tournaments during the fall schedule, Lourdes posted a runner-up finish at the Lourdes Invitational on Wednesday at The Legacy Golf Club.
The Gray Wolves fired a round of 336, just two strokes behind champion Alma and one shot ahead of third place Cleary.
Emma Mulder (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with an eight-over par round of 80, tying for fifth place individually.
Tina Kindler (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll H.S.) followed with a ninth place effort on the 6,018-yard, par-72 layout, firing an 83.
Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) fired her collegiate-best round of 86 while
Morgan Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) matched her best round as a Gray Wolf with an 87 to complete the scoring.
Shauna White (Somerset, Ohio/Sheridan H.S.), playing in her second collegiate event, posted a 91, her best of the year.
Lourdes will return to action on Monday and Tuesday taking part in the Cardinal Invitational. Action begins on Monday at 8 a.m. at Washtenaw Country Club in Ann Arbor, Mich. with 36 holes taking place on day one.
