Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: The penultimate week of the regular season has arrived for Lourdes women's volleyball.  The Gray Wolves will head to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday evening before hosting Michigan-Dearborn on Friday for Senior Night.  Lourdes begins its final road trip of the year on Saturday night with a visit to Siena Heights.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his 14th season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 231-199 (.537) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his 16th season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 251-234 (.518) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Lourdes leads the all-time series against Lawrence Tech 18-6 dating back to Sept. 17, 2011.  The Blue Devils won the first meeting this season in five sets on Sept. 27 inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  The Gray Wolves are 7-4 against Lawrence Tech in Southfield, Mich.  The Gray Wolves hold a 16-5 edge against Michigan-Dearborn in a series that began Aug. 28, 2010.  The Wolverines swept the first meeting this season in Dearborn, Mich. on Sept. 30, 2023.  Lourdes holds a 4-1 advantage in matches played inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Siena Heights is 15-14 against Lourdes all-time in a series that dates back to Sept. 10, 2010.  The Saints have won the last five meetings between the two schools after notching a four-set win on Sept. 29 inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Siena Heights holds a 9-4 series edge all-time in Adrian, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Indiana Tech swept Wednesday's match from Lourdes 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.  Kylee McBride led the Gray Wolves with 12 kills while Arleena Willer tallied 19 digs.  On Friday, Madonna posted a 25-18, 25-18, 25-18 triumph over the Gray Wolves.  McBride had a team-high seven kills while McKenna Hall picked up nine digs defensively.  Lourdes closed the homestand Saturday with a 25-9, 16-25, 25-16, 25-23 win over Rochester (Mich.) behind 14 kills from McBride and 19 digs from Jolie Sobb.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils are coming off a five-set loss at Siena Heights on Saturday.  Lindsay Hubler leads Lawrence Tech with 256 kills and is hitting .215 while also tallying a team-high 25 service aces.  Abby Zambeck has handed out 468 assists.  Defensively, Juliana Bollini has picked up 394 digs while Kristen Hankins has 75 blocks, including 10 solos.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines enter the week having lost four straight matches after falling in straight sets at Madonna on Saturday.  Michigan-Dearborn hosts Aquinas on Wednesday before visiting Lourdes.  Sydney Eggleton leads Michigan-Dearborn with 269 kills and 35 aces this season while Brooke Wetherill is hitting a team-high .246.  Regan Rose has handed out 822 assists.  On defense, Kenzie Mertz has picked up 432 digs while Wetherill has 107 blocks, including 14 of the solo variety.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints scored a five-set win over Lawrence Tech at home on Saturday and travel to Northwestern Ohio this Wednesday prior to facing the Gray Wolves.  Olivia Norman has 248 kills this season and is swinging at a .240 clip while Aubrey Bates has handed out 734 assists.  Jessica Holsapple has recorded 48 service aces.  Defensively, Payton Osborne has a team-leading 449 digs while Norman has 81 total blocks, including 14 solos.

Thanks Seniors: Lourdes will honor the five members of its 2023 senior class prior to Friday night's match with Michigan-Dearborn.  Chelsie Raabe and Ella Lewis have both been with the program for three seasons while McKenna Hall is wrapping up her fourth at Lourdes.  Kylee McBride and Macey Zinser have both spent five years wearing a Gray Wolf uniform.

Tournament Hopes Still Alive: With four matches remaining in the regular season, Lourdes is still alive for a berth in the upcoming Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament.  The Gray Wolves trail eighth place Michigan-Dearborn by three games in the standings, with the two sides meeting one another on Friday night.

McBride in the Record Books: Kylee McBride enters the week ranked fourth in program history with 774 total kills.  She needs just 26 more to match Stephanie Ruffing (2015-2016) for third all-time with 800 kills.  In addition, McBride is second all-time with 2,664 career attempts.  She also ranks ninth in program history with 628 career digs and is 10th with 97 career blocks.  

Hall Also on the All-Time Charts: McKenna Hall is in seventh place on the all-time kills list with 708, just two shy of matching Ali Mass (2010-2013) for sixth place.  Hall is also third all-time with 2,429 career attempts and ranks fifth with 769 career digs.  Her 100 service aces rank fourth and her 105 blocks are ninth most in program history.

Moving Into Second All-Time: Katey Stakolich has moved into second place all-time with 1,546 career assists, passing Hannah Thompson (2010-2011) on the all-time list.  She trails just Meghan Birr (2015-2016) who finished her career with 2,583 career helpers.

This and That: Arleena Willer and McKenna Hall are the only Gray Wolves to appear in all 21 matches this season ... Lourdes has yet to sweep an opponent this year ... Jolie Sobb picked up a career-high 19 digs against Rochester (Mich.) in her first full match in the libero role ... Kylee McBride had her team-leading fifth double-double of the season against Rochester (14 kills, 12 digs).
