First Round Scores

Lourdes was in a tie for fifth place after round one and in sixth place with the second round suspended due to darkness following the opening day of competition at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships held at Stonehedge Golf Club North in Augusta, Mich.
 
The Gray Wolves fired a round of 338 over the opening 18 holes and were tied with Lawrence Tech in the standings.  Emma Mulder (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) fired an opening round 79, her season's best, and was six-over par in round two with three holes to play.  Mulder was in seventh place when the horn sounded.
 
Jordan Bucher (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) matched her collegiate best round of 85 in the first round before carding an 89 in round two as she finished just before darkness.  Tina Kindler (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll H.S.) and Morgan Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) each posted rounds of 87 to begin the day.  Altenbach fired a second round 95 on the 5,868-yard, par-72 course, while Kindler has two holes remaining in her second round.
 
Shauna White (Somerset, Ohio/Sheridan H.S.) rounded out the Gray Wolf lineup, posting a 95 in round one before following that up with a 94 in round two.
 
Northwestern Ohio's Zoe Wuermli leads the tournament heading into the final day after posting a seven-over par total of 151 (75-76), one shot better than Julia Bockstahler of Indiana Tech.
 
Northwestern Ohio leads the team standings after posting a two-round total of 617, 28 shots better than second place Indiana Tech.
 
The second round is scheduled to resume on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. followed by the final 18-hole round.
