Final Results
Lourdes saw its record-breaking season come to an end on Wednesday afternoon as the Gray Wolves dropped a 4-0 decision to Cornerstone in the quarterfinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament held in Lima, Ohio.
 
Josh Parish (Columbus, Ohio/Cristo Rey H.S.) and 
Ondrej Skokan (Pardubice, Czech Republic/Gymnazium Dasicka 1083) teamed for a 6-3 victory at second doubles in the duo's first time playing together.  Cornerstone (8-7), the tournament's third seed, won the other two doubles contests to capture the match's first point.
 
The Gray Wolves' 
Ulises Barradas (Nueva Esparta, Venezuela/UE Colegio Madre Guadalupe) and 
Theo Casadei (Annecy Le Vieux, France/CNED) dropped a 6-0 decision at the top of the order while 
Luis Guzman (Santo Domingo, D.R./Cranston East [R.I.] H.S.) and 
Alvaro Trillo-Sanchez (Madrid, Spain/Churchill County [Nev.] H.S.) fell 6-1 at the third spot.
 
In singles action, the Golden Eagles captured wins in the first three contests to clinch the match.  Barradas fell 6-1, 6-0 at third singles while Parish dropped a 6-3, 6-2 match at the fifth spot.  At sixth singles, Trillo-Sanchez lost his match 6-1, 6-1.
 
Skokan was even 6-6 in the first set at number one singles when his match was abandoned.  Casadei was trailing 6-4, 1-1 in the second set at number two singles while 
Aryan Mittal (Ghaziabad, India/DPS Indirapuram) dropped the first set 6-3 before holding a 3-2 advantage in the second set at fourth singles when his match was stopped.
 
Lourdes, the tournament's sixth seed, closes its season with an 11-7 record, setting a school record for victories in a year.
