Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: Lourdes takes to the road this week for three matches in four days.  The week begins on Wednesday with a trip to 22nd-ranked Indiana Tech.  The Gray Wolves then head to Rochester (Mich.) on Friday and Madonna on Saturday afternoon.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his 14th season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 229-189 (.548) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his 16th season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 249-224 (.526) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Indiana Tech holds a 13-10 series edge dating back to Oct. 1, 2010.  The Warriors won all three meetings last year, winning in straight sets in Sylvania before downing Lourdes in five in Fort Wayne, Ind.  Indiana Tech also won in five in the quarterfinals of the WHAC tournament.  The Warriors are 8-4 against Lourdes in Fort Wayne.  Lourdes is 12-4 against Rochester (Mich.) in a series that began Aug. 21, 2010.  The two teams split their meetings last year.  Rochester won in four sets in the Ebeid Rec Center and the Gray Wolves were straight sets winners in Rochester Hills, Mich., where Lourdes is 7-0 all-time.  Madonna leads the series against Lourdes 14-11 going back to Oct. 8, 2010.  The Gray Wolves won in four sets at home last season while the Crusaders were five-set victors in Livonia, Mich., where Madonna holds an 8-4 edge.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes began its homestand on Wednesday dropping a 25-14, 25-19, 25-17 decision to Northwestern Ohio.  Kylee McBride led the Gray Wolves with nine kills while Mia Lopez had 10 digs.  Friday night, the Gray Wolves downed Cornerstone 21-25, 25-20, 25-17, 18-25, 15-12 for their first win of the season.  McBride had 18 kills and 11 digs while Arleena Willer had 16 digs.  Miyanna Dishroon tallied 10 kills, 38 assists, and 16 digs.  Aquinas defeated Lourdes on Saturday 25-23, 25-20, 25-155 to close out the week.  McBride led Lourdes with eight kills while Willer had 11 digs.

Scouting Northwestern Ohio: The Warriors have won 10 straight matches after sweeping Madonna on Saturday.  Noelle Vanoort leads Indiana Tech with 210 kills and 31 service aces while Taylor Sorg is hitting .360.  Andrea Schriver has handed out 613 assists.  Defensively, Jacey Blust has a team-high 251 digs while Jacqueline Allaway has 37 blocks.

Scouting Rochester (Mich.): The Warriors enter the week having dropped three straight matches after being swept at Lawrence Tech last Friday.  Rochester plays at Siena Heights on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes.  Olivia Francis has a team-high 135 kills this season while hitting .179.  Charlotte Warner has handed out 242 assists while racking up 25 service aces.  Defensively, Gabby Costello has picked up 219 digs while Darcy Bennin has been involved in 30 blocks.

Scouting Madonna: The Crusaders enter the week following a straight sets loss at Indiana Tech on Saturday.  Madonna hosts Lawrence Tech on Wednesday and plays at Michigan-Dearborn on Friday before battling the Gray Wolves.  Kira Buza has a team-high 93 kills this season while hitting .262.  Buza also leads Madonna with 13 aces.  Kacie Stoneburner has handed out 193 assists.  On defense, Jamie Ciacico has tallied 107 digs while Jaeda Porter has posted 41 blocks.

Dishroon Does it All in Win: Miyana Dishroon did a little bit of everything for the Gray Wolves in the victory over Cornerstone, registering a triple-double.  She handed out 38 assists and picked up 16 digs while recording 10 kills and hitting .714 for the match.

Going the Distance: Lourdes has already played four five-set matches in its first nine contests of the year.  The Gray Wolves also went the distance in the final two matches of 2022, extending the streak to six of the last 11 contests overall.

Record-Setting Night: Kylee McBride set a new Lourdes single match record with 29 kills in the WHAC opener at Concordia (Mich.) on Sept. 6.  The Gray Wolves' fifth-year senior broke the mark of 24 set by Stephanie Richards on Oct. 18, 2014 and matched by Stephanie Ruffing (twice) and Allie Hale.  McBride also set a school mark with 82 attacks, 13 more than the previous mark set by McKenna Hall at Concordia (Mich.) in 2021.

Looking to Move Into Second All-Time: Katey Stakolich enters the week ranked third in program history with 1,419 career assists.  She needs just 32 more to match Hannah Thompson's total of 1,451 for second place all-time at Lourdes.

McBride in the Record Books: Kylee McBride enters the week ranked sixth in program history with 698 total kills.  She needs just 12 more to match Ali Mass (2010-2013) for a spot in the top-five with 710 kills.  In addition, McBride is third all-time with 2,385 career attempts.  She also ranks ninth in program history playing in 279 career sets.

Hall Also on the All-Time Charts: McKenna Hall is in seventh place on the all-time kills list with 617.  Hall is also fifth all-time with 2,091 career attempts and ranks eighth with 649 career digs.  Her 79 service aces are tied for seventh and her 95 blocks are ninth in program history.

This and That: Not one Gray Wolf has played in every set this season ... Mia Lopez notched double figure digs for the first time in her career with 10 against Northwestern Ohio ... McKenna Hall has 13 aces and just two errors this year.
