Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: The midway point of the season has arrived as Lourdes will wrap up the first half of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play this week.  The Gray Wolves host Lawrence Tech on Wednesday evening and Siena Heights on Friday night before taking the trip to Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday afternoon.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his 14th season on the Lourdes bench, Greg Reitz has a 230-191 (.546) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his 16th season overall as a women's head coach, Reitz has a 250-226 (.525) career mark.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history and was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2015.

Series Notes: Lourdes is 18-5 all-time against Lawrence Tech in a series that began Sept. 17, 2011.  The two schools split a pair of meetings last season with the Blue Devils winning in straight sets in Southfield, Mich. and Lourdes winning in four sets in the Ebeid Rec Center.  The Gray Wolves are 4-1 against Lawrence Tech in the Ebeid Rec Center.  The Gray Wolves and Siena Heights have split their previous meetings 14-14 going back to Sept. 10, 2010.  The Saints swept both meetings in 2022.  Lourdes holds a 4-3 edge in matches play in the Ebeid Rec Center.  The Gray Wolves hold a 16-4 series advantage against Michigan-Dearborn dating back to Aug. 28, 2010.  The Wolverines were a four-set winner in the Ebeid Rec Center last year while Lourdes won in straight sets in Dearborn, Mich. where the Gray Wolves are 8-3 all-time in the series.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes began its road trip on Wednesday falling 25-15, 25-21, 25-15 to 22nd-ranked Indiana Tech.  Kylee McBride had 10 kills and Arleena Willer had 10 digs for the Gray Wolves.  On Friday, Lourdes downed Rochester (Mich.) 25-17, 25-11, 21-25, 25-21.  McKenna Hall had 1 kills and 14 digs while Willer picked up 27 digs.  Saturday the Gray Wolves fell at Madonna 25-19, 25-21, 25-22.  Macey Zinser had a team-high eight kills while Willer tallied 16 digs.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils have dropped two straight after falling in four sets at home against Siena Heights last Friday.  Lindsay Hubler leads Lawrence Tech with 119 kills and is hitting .197 while Abby Zambeck has 260 assists.  Juliana Bollini has severed up 13 aces.  On defense, Bollini has picked up 192 digs while Kristen Hankins has 49 blocks.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints enter the week having won four straight matches after sweeping Concordia (Mich.) on the road Saturday.  Siena Heights faces Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday before visiting Lourdes.  Taylor Wegener has 156 kills and is hitting .200 to lead the Saints while Aubrey Bates has handed out 504 assists.  Jessica Holsapple has 33 service aces.  Defensively, Payton Osborne has a team-high 234 digs while Olivia Norman has 43 blocks.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines enter the week following a four-set win at Rochester (Mich.) on Saturday.  Michigan-Dearborn travels to Aquinas on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes.  Sydney Eggleton leads the Wolverines with 167 kills and 23 service aces while Brooke Wetherill is hitting a team-high .271.  Regan Rose has handed out 525 assists.  On defense, Kenzie Mertz has 257 digs while Wetherill has 76 blocks.

Pumford Has Big Day: Lindsey Pumford was very efficient in the win at Rochester (Mich.) last Friday.  She put down a career-high 10 kills without an error, swinging at a .625 clip.  Pumford entered that match with just 14 total kills on the season.

Digging Balls: Arleena Willer has been solid defensively for the Gray Wolves as a freshman.  She is averaging 4.32 digs per set and tallied 27 digs against Rochester (Mich.), her third match this season with more than 25 digs.  Willer has posted double figure dig totals in 10 of 12 matches this season, including the last five straight.

Serving Up Aces: McKenna Hall tallied six service aces at Madonna on Saturday, giving her a team-leading 21 on the year.  She has committed just six service errors.  

McBride in the Record Books: Kylee McBride enters the week ranked sixth in program history with 708 total kills.  She needs just two more to match Ali Mass (2010-2013) for a spot in the top-five with 710 kills.  In addition, McBride is second all-time with 2,420 career attempts.  She also ranks ninth in program history playing in 282 career sets.

Hall Also on the All-Time Charts: McKenna Hall is in seventh place on the all-time kills list with 645.  Hall is also fourth all-time with 2,187 career attempts and ranks seventh with 681 career digs.  Her 87 service aces are fifth and her 97 blocks are ninth in program history.

Looking to Move Into Second All-Time: Katey Stakolich enters the week ranked third in program history with 1,423 career assists.  She needs just 28 more to match Hannah Thompson's total of 1,451 for second place all-time at Lourdes.

This and That: Not one Gray Wolf has played in every set this season ... Miyana Dishroon and Kylee McBride both have four double-doubles on the year ... Chelsie Raabe has led the defense at the net this year, tallying 15 blocks.
