Box Score SYLVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University women's volleyball team dropped a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference affair at home against the visiting Golden Eagles of Cornerstone University Friday evening, Oct. 25.  Â
Lourdes lost to Cornerstone in straight sets with scores of 25-15, 25-15, and 25-21. Cornerstone's consistent play allowed them to control the match, while Lourdes managed to put up a stronger fight in the third set, although it wasn't enough to secure a win.
Juniors Katey Stakolich and senior Alex Pak led Lourdes offensively with five kills each, while the defense was anchored by Maddie White's and Arleena Willer's 12 digs each. Stakolich was also a key play-maker, tallying a team-leading seven assists.Â

The Gray Wolves will return to action Saturday, Oct. 26, as the team is scheduled to host the WHAC leading Saints of Aquinas College at 2 pm.Â
