Final Results

Lourdes battled John Carroll in a tight decision on Sunday evening, but the Blue Streaks pulled out a 5-4 win over the Gray Wolves inside Chagrin Falls Athletic Club in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
 
"Our two teams were very evenly matched, so it was a good day to measure where we are in the season," head coach Epifani Jones said afterwards.  "I'm very proud of our doubles teams who adapted to some abrupt changes and still competed strongly."
 
The third doubles team of Luis Guzman (Santo Domingo, D.R./Cranston East [R.I.] H.S.) and Alvaro Trillo-Sanchez (Madrid, Spain/Churchill County [Nev.] H.S.) posted an 8-6 victory for the Gray Wolves.  John Carroll (2-6) took the top two spots though.  Victor Dieltiens (Altea, Spain/Sint Eduardus [Belgium]) and Joshua Parish (Columbus, Ohio/Cristo Rey H.S.) fell 8-4 at the top of the order while Theo Casadei (Annecy, Le Vieux, France/CNED) and Aryan Mittal (Ghaziabad, India/DPS Indirapuram) dropped a tie-break 8-7 (8) at the second spot.
 
Casadei notched a 6-4, 6-3 victory at second singles for the Gray Wolves while Parish was a 6-0, 6-3 victor at number three.  Mittal also garnered a 6-2, 6-1 win at fifth singles.  Dieltiens fell 6-2, 6-3 at the top of the lineup while Trillo-Sanchez suffered a 6-2, 6-0 setback at number four.  Guzman dropped a 7-6 (8), 6-2 match at sixth singles.
 
Lourdes (3-6) will return home on Saturday to face Saint Francis (Ind.).  First serve is set for 4 p.m. at Shadow Valley.
