Final Results

Lourdes took the road on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Mount Union 8-1 in Alliance, Ohio for the Gray Wolves' second consecutive victory.
 
"This was our first outdoor match of the season and the wind and temperature required a lot of adaptions," head coach Epifani Jones said afterwards.  "The guys found the patience to push through."
 
The Gray Wolves opened with wins at first and third doubles.  Joshua Parish (Columbus, Ohio/Cristo Rey H.S.) and Jaden Coley (Columbus, Ohio/Reynoldsburg H.S.) posted an 8-3 triumph at the top of the order while Aryan Mittal (Ghaziabad, India/DPS Indirapuram) and Luis Guzman (Santo Domingo, D.R./Cranston East [R.I.] H.S.) won by the same score.  Mount Union (2-7) picked up its lone point of the day at second doubles with an 8-6 victory over Victor Dieltiens (Altea, Spain/Sint Eduardus [Belgium]) and Alvaro Trillo-Sanchez (Madrid, Spain/Churchill County [Nev.] H.S.).
 
Lourdes swept the six singles matches, including five of which came in straight sets.  Dieltiens was a 6-3, 6-3 victor at the top of the lineup while Parish posted a 6-3, 6-4 winner at the second spot.  Theo Casadei (Annecy Le Vieux, France/CNED) cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles while Coley won by the same score at the sixth spot.  Mittal notched a 6-2, 6-2 triumph playing fourth singles while Trillo-Sanchez bounced back from a first set loss to secure a 4-6, 6-1, 10-5 win at fifth singles.
 
Lourdes (5-6) will return to the courts on April 4 for the final home match of the season as the Gray Wolves host Indiana Wesleyan.  First serve is set for 11:30 a.m. at Shadow Valley.
