Final Results
Olivia Schoppa (Gutersloh, Germany/Stadtisches Gymnasium Gutersloh) earned the lone victory on the afternoon for Lourdes as the Gray Wolves suffered a 6-1 setback to Lawrence Tech inside Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield, Mich.
Schoppa was a 6-2, 6-2 victor at third singles, giving her a team-leading six wins on the season.

Bella Chela (Lusaka, Zambia/Pretoria H.S. for Girls) had another tight match for the Gray Wolves at the top of the order, winning the first set before falling 2-6, 6-1, 6-4.
Mallory Schardt (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) forced an opening set tie-break at the second spot before dropping her match 7-6 (5), 6-0.
Laura Ortiz (Bogota, Columbia/Gimnasio Los Pinos) retired late in the second set of her match at the fourth spot trailing 6-0, 5-0 while
Luciana Merediz (Lima, Peru/Colegio Nuestra Senora del Carmen) dropped a 6-0, 6-0 match at number five.
Vanessa Skouroukos (Toledo, Ohio/Waite H.S.) rounded out the lineup with a 6-2, 6-1 loss.
Lawrence Tech (3-4, 2-1 WHAC) swept the three doubles matches to pick up the first point of the match. The Lourdes tandem of Chela and Schardt fell 6-4 at the top of the order while Schoppa and Ortiz lost by the same margin at number two. Merediz and Skouroukos dropped a 6-0 match at number three doubles.
Lourdes (3-8, 1-4) heads to Marion, Ind. next Saturday to face Indiana Wesleyan. The opening serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Sutter Tennis Center.
