Box Score SYLVANIA, Ohio – A 75th-minute goal broke a 1-1 deadlock as Lourdes University women's soccer dropped its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match of the season, falling 2-1 to (RV) Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium.
After an evenly played opening half, the Racers took the lead just before halftime on a goal by Celia Catalan Keck in the 45th minute. Lourdes (7-2, 5-1 WHAC) drew level early in the second half when
Hollie Robinson converted a penalty kick in the 52nd minute – her second goal of the season – to make it 1-1.
Northwestern Ohio (9-3, 5-1 WHAC) regained the advantage in the 75th minute as Keira Ferns scored the match-winner off assists from Keck and Camila Rico. The Gray Wolves generated 10 shots in the contest, including three on goal, but were unable to find the equalizer down the stretch.

Samarah Arendsen finished with eight saves for Lourdes, while Sophia Eisner stopped two shots for UNOH. The Racers held a 15-10 edge in total shots and 6-3 advantage in corners.
Lourdes will look to bounce back on Saturday, Oct. 11, when the Gray Wolves travel to Cornerstone for another WHAC matchup in Grand Rapids, Mich.
