Final Results

Lourdes dropped its second consecutive match on Tuesday afternoon, falling to Indiana Tech 7-0 inside Shadow Valley.
 
Theo Casadei (Annecy Le Vieux, France/CNED) and Ondrej Skokan (Pardubice, Czech Republic/Gymnazium Dasicka 1083) picked up the lone victory of the day for the Gray Wolves, scoring a 6-3 win at third doubles.
 
"Theo and Ondrej took the notes I gave them after Monday's loss and very purposefully applied them today," head coach Epifani Jones said afterwards.  "Obviously, looking at the scores, ?this was a battle today. And playing two tough teams back-to-back was an appropriate test for where we are. We must keep adjusting and refining as these young players gain experience. 
 
Indiana Tech (4-6, 1-0 WHAC) picked up wins at the first and second spots to earn the opening point though.  Ulises Barradas (Nueva Esparta, Venezuela/UE Colegio Madre Guadalupe) and Victor Dieltiens (Altea, Spain/Sint Eduardus [Belgium]) dropped a tight 7-5 decision at the top of the order while Josh Parish (Columbus, Ohio/Cristo Rey H.S.) and Luis Guzman (Santo Domingo, D.R./Cranston East [R.I.] H.S.) fell 6-3 at the second spot.
 
In singles play, the Warriors took all six sports in straight sets.  Skokan dropped a tough 7-5, 7-6 (4) decision at the top of the lineup while Barradas fell by the same score at fourth singles, falling in his tie-break 7-3.  Casadei lost 7-5, 6-3 at number two while Dieltiens dropped a 6-4, 6-4 match at the third slot.  At fifth singles, Parish lost 6-3, 6-3 while Alvaro Trillo-Sanchez (Madrid, Spain/Churchill County [Nev.] H.S.) fell 6-1, 6-4 to round out the lineup.
 
Lourdes (6-2, 0-2) continues its homestand on Wednesday afternoon with a non-conference match against Olivet.  First serve is set for 1 p.m. at Shadow Valley.
